WillyM.Mar 8, 2006Ick. Made by people who wanted to ape Arrested Development but didn't have the talent. Just nasty and forced.

AlexRSep 6, 2006being different doesnt make it good. If you do not want to rely on good writers, at least do so in excellent improvisators and do something to set an environment where good improvs are gonna flow. This has nothing going on for it, except that it is different and it can thus attract all those that feel need to show the world how unique they are by praising whatever seems unique..

LauraGApr 5, 2006Can't wait to see what the characters do next in this intelligent and hilarious show.

KathyEApr 7, 2006I think this show funny, sad and so realistic. Finally there is something on television to relate to and is so entertaining.

kagMay 9, 2006Great show!

kristenhAug 1, 2006This show was something I looked forward to each week (the few that it was on). Why do the intelligent shows fail so fast?
-
-
JayneMMar 29, 2006Intelligent and hysterical. Sadly, too good for TV.

-
JiminyCrocketMar 8, 2006Appallingly unfunny. Apparently you need talent to pull off a show like The Office or Arrested D.
-
-
CraigMar 8, 2006I just think this show is the best new show on tv. It's funny, serious, deals with real situations, and those kids are so cute!
-
-
BobRMar 8, 2006Horrible Arrested D wanta be.

-
LizGMar 8, 2006Show sucked. Up against The Unit, doesn't have a prayer. Actually, pretty much has no prayer, regardless of what it's up against.
-
-
BMar 8, 2006I guess you either love it or hate it -- I loved it. Laughed til tears came -- hope future shows fulfill its promise.

RHMar 9, 2006After reading an enthusiastic review from my favorite TV critic, my friend and I downloaded the pilot. We made it about seven minutes in before turning it off....... Honestly, take the improv of Curb Your Enthusiasm, the awkward pauses of The Office, the cinematography of Arrested Development. Mix them in a bowl. Now take out the humor. You have Sons and Daughters.

MikeGMar 9, 2006A welcome change from the stale programming that we have shoved down our throats in the last 6 years i,e: Reality T.V.

ChristyHApr 27, 2006I love Sons & Daughters. I really hope they are not cancelling it? Does anyone know? I've really missed it the last couple weeks. The characters make our family laugh out LOUD!

MartaDJul 24, 2006A great show, should be picked up on another network, or even cable. Only new show I've been watching on TV this year.

CarlinhosBMar 11, 2006Great sitcom, so funny and charming just like my family! Another big show for ABC, even better than the similar "Arrested Development"

robertwMar 10, 2006very funny. the show has lot's of potetial. the little girl is priceless.
-
-
RichBMar 12, 2006Love it and others apparently agree. This show can only get better. Improv characters usually grow and build and get funnier along the way. Ratings will come as those who find and like the show will definitly stick around for more. The haters can watch another Doc show or whatever.

-
austinwMar 15, 2006this show had me laughing out loud a few times. there are some rough patches, but the characters are pretty stellar. The girl with teh braces kills me... worth checking out, if you don't mind improv-style jokiness.

BRADBMar 9, 2006Dont compare this to Arrested and Curb. It's a very funny look on actual everday family life that I think will ring true to many.

TraceySApr 20, 2006Funny. While itt is rare for me to find television viewing enjoyable these days, I do like Sons & Daughters... alot.

jamessApr 24, 2006Best in some time. heartfelt, real and hilarious. Every character is so fresh and each episode is so unpredictable.

-
blakeApr 7, 2006very funny. i know this family. i think it's mine.
-
-
sambApr 7, 2006Refreshingly funny and touching at times. The improv is seamless and characters more humanly developed than the "Arrested Development" clan. I could only hope that the viewing public catches onto this gem and ABC picks up a full season.

-
LisaSApr 8, 2006Smart and sad. I count the minutes to the next episode each week...

MasterpoloMay 12, 2006Extremely funny. Joins The Office (UK) and Curb your Enthusiasm in the pantheon of truly must see TV.

HeatherBDec 11, 2006Loved it because it's candid!

-
DaveBMar 21, 2006This show aimed squarely at 'Arrested Development' and missed by a mile. Not even worth the 22 minutes it took to watch a Tivo'd episode.
-
-
RobEMar 24, 2006I think this show is hilarious. I've have laughed out loud during many occasions. The dry humor cracks me up. I hope this show stays on the air for many years to come.

Awards & Rankings
-
It's very well-acted and meanwhile, when it can stand it, kind of tender, although it's far more interested in "Curb"-like moments of uncomfortable confrontation.
-
The improvised dialogue is sometimes smart, but it often leads to scenes where the main characters repeat their intentions over and over again -- you know, like in a really bad improv class.
-
Definitely worth your time.
