    The “look what I can do” element is intrinsically enjoyable, if only because you’re waiting to see celebrity ass hitting ice.

    It's a silly, sweet-natured waste of time, and (unlike the tortured caterwauling of the American Idol contestants) it's utterly irresistible.

    Tonight's "Skating" debut glides onto the air in a weird sort of middle zone, not quite cheesy enough to skewer, yet too much a cheese-product to take seriously.

    I enjoyed this series but can see why it wasn't renewed. Was a bit of a dangerous/difficult sport to try to teach "C" level celebrities. I enjoyed this series but can see why it wasn't renewed.
