    The unwavering, insistent sincerity of Signed, Sealed, and its tearjerking final acts, are hard to resist, despite often being served up in greeting-card platitudes.

    The characters, all of whom are terribly likable, speak as if they are reading from Hallmark greeting cards.

    Like all Hallmark movies, the premise is constructed in such a way that you can see every beat telegraphed (or in this case, pre-addressed) well in advance, which serves to both make viewers feel smart and wrap them in a warm blanket of familiarity.

Talented actors and writers demonstrate that a series can be engaging and capture attention without the cheap use of sex, nudity, violence, and profanity. There are always subplots in addition to the main story line. Hallmark is finding a place as a niche market for people who want well written entertainment without the sex, nudity, violence, and profanity. Their growing audience is proof that there is an interest in this genre. The dialog is wonderful, using history and trivia, to capture interest. The characters have jobs that are interesting, challenging, and require intelligence, and, most importantly, they work well together, and get along. If one enjoys cozy mysteries, this series is one to explore.… Full Review »

I've never been a fan of shows like Touched by an Angel because I felt they were simplistic, but this show has depth, humor and heart.… Full Review »
