Summary: Watson claims that he was hit in the eye by Albert Higgins a half hour after he had watched him die of a heart attack. He was however the counterfeiter "Poundnote" Higgins, now daywatchman at the Pembroke Museum, where Leonardo's "Moonlight Madonna" is being shown. His boss, Mr. Benton, his replacement and his landlady, Mrs. Maggie BlakeWatson claims that he was hit in the eye by Albert Higgins a half hour after he had watched him die of a heart attack.
