Terrible CGI, She Hulk looks like a Sim. Too many attention-stealing cameos. Good ideas badly executed. Finale was the worst MCU finale by far. It only has 2 good episodes, 1 & 8, the rest is trash. 7 episodes in and really it's disappointing. She Hulk is like that middle child, at first glance people don't like her and yet when she got the chance to be likable but she just do the opposite. Like there's no way with i don't know 2 episodes later in season 1 would save the show or it's just me be being pessimistic, i guess we gonna find out later but for now im just disappointed.… Expand

Yet another **** addition to the "Marvel" series. The protagonist is a really privileged woman, who has a great job and faces almost no real challenges throughout the series because she somehow can't have any flaws. Really? It's disappointing to see one of my favourite comics giving such treatment, the dialog, and jokes aren't landing for me. Maybe I'm not the audience they are aiming for. But to that I ask, why not? Whoever thought of this show and how things were going to be done in it, wasn't really thinking of making something worthwhile watching. Instead it was aimed at a very specific audience. The wokes!

Because everything in the show is woke, from the dialogues to the scenes. And let's not even talk about the atrocious not so special effects. Tatiana Maslany, would've definitely not have been my choice for this role. And to see her character so easily lose control over the same anger she says she manages thousands of times better than men, already tells you what you're gonna get.
Mark Ruffalo is basically furniture at this point, and doesn't really serves to be Bruce Banner anymore. He's made a joke off in this show, mainly because he acts so contrary to what is Bruce Banner actual personality.
Even the way Jennifer Walters just judges other characters, thinking she could've done better would've some merit had she actually done anything in the movies. She's like that bar coach that thinks knows better than everyone else, and of course they gave her a lineup of actresses that mostly fallen off the map to tell her how good at everything she is, and how she's right about everything.
Watched as many episodes as possible before completely losing my patience with it. At no point does the show gets any better. It's a forest fire and it can only get worse. Save your time and patience, and choose something else to see. Because She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is itself a felony.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Perhaps the most anticipated addition to Marvel tv-series... this comes off as less interesting and less accurate SVU: Law and Order.
Where the victim is the audience and most toxic personalities are all men.
Not to say that this can be improved, but the law bar of the show shows an even "lower-Bar" exam that other tv-shows.
Perhaps the writing of all court scenes should be done by a professional and not someone that looks to Tok Toc for inspiration.
Also, Bruce as the Hulk Seems to be a weakling that doesn't do anything right. Hence all women are right and all men are wrong, is a terrible way to write a show.
A good show would have competence from both men and women.
And this would be how Jen fits into the story. But all we get is toxic feminist and toxic males

The show does not have an excuse for being bad at this point. It has a great cast but a very poor scrip and a team of writers who are either winging it or are just lazy. Did they even read a single comic as a reference for their characters or just read the comicvine page for She Hulk? The plot is garbage and 7 episodes I still don't know what the F is going on. The law plotline is bad and it is clear that the writers do not know how to write a good law-themed story. I feel bad for anyone who has high hopes for the show or She Hulk.… Expand

I don't usually bother making reviews for shows or movies. It never seemed to matter. I'm just one voice, drowned in an ocean of differing opinions. I'm just one voice, drowned in an ocean of differing opinions. However, this travesty of entertainment has driven me to speak up. It goes without saying that life sucks. Sometimes, I don't know why I even keep on living. Usually, the only thing that has brought me much joy or hope for the future has been films. I absolutely love movies. I love going to the theater. I love watching trailers. For the longest time, my biggest motivation in life is the excitement I get from the next big blockbuster. The MCU has been by far one of the biggest drivers of that excitement. And now it is gone.

I have watched as the film industry has become more and more hostile to not only general audiences, but specifically people like myself. Yes, I am the stereotypical single white guy living with his parents. I was raised with fairly conservative beliefs. But I am no bigot. I grew up idolizing characters of every race, male and female. I absolutely adore well written LGBT characters and stories, such as in Steven Universe or Helluva Boss. I yearn for more diverse and original stories. But they are not forthcoming. Modern writers seem to be so creatively bankrupt that they can only defile and pervert beloved characters and franchises. There have been many disappointing releases over the last few years. The trailer for Star Wars: Episode 7 awoke a fire in my heart that I didn't even realize was still there, after all those years ago when I watched the original trilogy for the first time, on good old VHS. Then The Last Jedi came along and killed it forever. Just thinking of Star Wars makes me sick. After the insane ending of Infinity War, I was incredibly excited for Captain Marvel. Then I watched it. Enough said. I was even excited for the likes of Morbius and Lightyear. I hoped for the best, and was completely let down. Again and again I have had the rug pulled out from under me, but I still dared to hope that the next one would be better. And then the trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released.

It was disgusting from the get-go. The terrible jokes,the lackluster visuals, the distinct anti-male slant that was evident even then. Ironically, it was a show that I wasn't hyped for that has finally killed the MCU for me. I don't even watch Marvel shows, never have. I stuck to the films for the overarching story. I wasn't going to watch this show either way. They could have done just about anything and I wouldn't have cared. But the sheer vitriol and hatred that the writers have displayed towards people like me, the people just trying to get through life one story at a time, has shaken me. They hate us. They want to take everything we love and destroy it, just to hurt us. I just want to watch good movies. I don't care what the characters look like. Man or woman, gay or straight, black or white, I just want characters I can look up to. Worlds I can escape to. This show has taken that from me. I can't stomach the MCU anymore. It's only going to get worse. In a world that is getting worse by the day, I can't even look forward to anything better. There are still good movies coming out, but they are few and between, and they always catch me off guard. They honestly seem to come out of nowhere. I don't watch trailers anymore. I haven't been to the theater in almost a year, and I don't know when I'll ever go again. This review, if anyone has bothered to read it, undoubtedly comes off as egotistical and whiny. It's all about me, me, me. Yeah, because stories are personal to me. They are to a lot of people. We are the ones who suffer the most at the hands of those who do not care. People who see stories as mouthpieces for their beliefs and insecurities. That would be fine, if they created their own stories. But that's not good enough. They must have ours. Like a petulant child snatching a toy away, they want it just because we love it. I sincerely hope these insufferable pieces of human excrement are evicted from the film industry never to return. Until then, we must suffer them still. Whoever reads this far, I hope you can find something to look forward to. Something that excites you and makes the future seem just a bit brighter.… Expand

That's like if I made a series about somebody who starts playing the guitar and is better on their first day than somebody who has been diligently practicing for a decade and a half. Equally as dumb is claiming that an average woman has to control her anger way more than somebody who literally turns into an uncontrollable killing machine when he gets mad. Or as dumb as showing Hulk throwing a boulder into the atmosphere in one scene and him getting overpowered by a regular-a** Jeep in the next. This is garbage made for basic white girls sitting on the couch with two blankets and eight pillows, sipping Pumpkin Spice Latte, yelling "YOU GO GIRRRRL!" at the screen. CGI looks bad, jokes don't land, the fourth-wall-breaks are completely superfluous and feel forced. Don't waste your time by watching this.… Expand

She-Hulk is a thinly veiled attempt at counterculture feminism that is so poorly written that it actually ends up being extremely stereotypical to the point of borderline misogyny.

The first example of this is in episode one, where She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters) rants to the Hulk (Bruce Banner) about how great she is at managing her anger. She claims that, as a woman, and solely as a woman, she has dealt with more pain, suffering, and anger than Bruce Banner, a man that shouldered the lives of half the universe and had to watch his friends and family die before his eyes. She compares catcalling and the rate of violence against women to Bruce's life and claims that she does not need to learn to control her anger because she "does it on a daily basis". This is the first stereotype: that women are self-centered and cannot look past their own problems to see that others suffer more than them.

The second example of ironic misogyny is once again in the first episode. Near the end, a villan attacks the courtroom that Jennifer is occupying. She has to be actively encouraged by her coworker to use her powers, and before transforming shows more concern for her clothes and shoes than the lives of the people being attacked. That's stereotype number two: women care more about themselves and their appearance than anything else.

The third example comes once again from episode one, where during the midcredit scene, She-Hulk demeans Captain America (a man that saved the entire universe) simply because she believed he was a virgin. That's the third stereotype: that women only like men that are "alphas" or that can pull several different women.

Those are just three of the several examples of this series' borderline misogyny, and it doesn't stop there. Besides the complete failure of a message the show attempts to push, it is further littered with garbage CGI that looks stiff and like it was made ten years ago, terrible writing, insufferable dialogue, shoehorned fourth wall breaks that do not add anything to the show nor are they comic accurate, several glaring plot holes, opinionated depictions of men, and scenes that are so incredibly cringey that I struggled to watch.

If you are considering watching this show, don't. You are wasting your time. It is without question the worst piece of Marvel filmography. The first episode is one of the most misogynistic things I've seen in a while and it only goes downhill from there. Like most Phase 4 projects, the only redeeming quality is the actors' performances, but good acting cannot save awful writing. Avoid this show at all costs.… Expand

No, they didn't troll trolls, they ARE the trolls. A troll isn't someone who disagrees with you or dislikes your mess of a show, it's someone who actively tries to make you angry - the writers and stars. THEY were, literally, the bad guys of the show, not the fans who dislike garbage taken from a good source.

All their claims about women super heroes or whatever nonsense they're spewing is ridiculous. She-Hulk comics and cartoons existed and were popular (a popular female superhero, imagine that?!) decades before these trolls got their hands on the IP and trashed it for a laugh. Everyone but them seems to know who the joke's really on.

They could have made a good series (well, maybe not these people) and had good ratings, but they had to prove women had it rough by making a bad show. What idiot thinks forcefully fulfilling a self-made false prophecy is a good thing? They wanted to be angry at fans who didn't like their stuff, so the made stuff that fans wouldn't like - brilliant!

I won't ever watch the starring trollette or anything made by the writer trolls in anything else ever again. I think when they see how many people feel the same, they won't be laughing. :D… Expand

Where you watching the show thinking none of these stories in the episodes interconnected in a coherent way? That was on purpose to make a Meta joke about how bad the writing is in other marvel shows and movies. Were you thinking side and guest characters have been dumbed down? That was on purpose!

This was a constant theme through out the season. Bad writing that was called out seconds after it happened. If you are smart enough to know what people complain about why not fix it? Give it some real stakes takes us through someones personal story.

The character of Jennifer/She-hulk does not go through any growth or face any challenges that aren't immediately solved in her favor. So the show is mostly about her not getting her way initially, complaining and finally doing the bare minimum to get it fixed.

The show bashes other movies and TV shows but has a Life line to other more interesting characters. Like she couldn't carry the weight of her own show. Which they call out but they keep on doing and complaining about it.

This is the first time that in the MCU that I have thought about how a character is detrimental not to her self but to others around her from a Meta way. DareDevil's code of ethics and rules put him at odds with his faith and friends and that makes a good show. Jen's bad guy is the writers. Remember they purposely made Wong, abomination, Titania and Bruce dumb so they could have a conflict. What does she want? To be a successful female Lawyer. What's stopping her? Bad writing. I hope they rework her in a way that she is not toxic to others character, but until that happens pls keep her away from the MCU. Hope Deadpool gives her a master class on the how to break the 4th wall.… Expand

Aucun enjeu ici, aucun ennemi un minimum charismatique, seulement de la justice sociale à la petite semaine menée par l’avocate à la peau verte… D’ailleurs, pourquoi en avoir fait une avocate ? il n’est rien de plus chiant et plus chiatique que cette profession d »escrocs et de faux culs ! et quand bien même, si au moins c’était vraiment le cas… mais loin de là puisque qu’elle ne fait que sa Calimérette justicière à deux balles… et puis c’est tout.

Tout le reste n’est qu’ennui et agenda féministe bas de gamme, c’est-à-dire caricatural et maladroit. Et pourquoi ne pas avoir gardé la séparation entre les deux faces du personnage (la face normale et la face ‘super’ comme tous les super-héros-héroïnes soit dit en passant !) ?.. The comedy falls on its face more than anything and often times undercuts the dramatic scenes they wish to accomplish later in the episode, which is shocking for a 20 minute show. The dramatic scenes are dropped in the viewers lap with no pretense or build up and the comedy has no timing just pops up randomly. And the icing on the cake it's that they even had the nerve to casually admit it: “none of us are that adept at writing, you know, rousing trial scenes”
This is basically an insult, an insult to the audience and to the source material, do they remember that the protagonist IS A LAWYER?, this is so stupid for so many reasons, disney should have the minimum respect for the audience and hire some decent writters, they're not some small company, IT'S DISNEY that should be the bare minimum.… Expand

Simply one of the worst shows on TV currently, still hoping it gets better. Doubt I can make myself continue unless I hear of amazingly huge improvements from the first episode.
