Enjoyed it. Actually about a 7/10 but rating a 10 to counteract all the incels and right wingers who rate it low because of their inability to get a woman to let them within ten feet of her.

This is probably my favorite piece of the MCU. It's unfortunate that there's review bombing for the "woke" content. This both captures realistic attorney and court procedure while also being a fun superhero story. Tatiana Maslany kills.

Is it a Law Show? A Sitcom? A Romantic Comedy?
It's the Sensational She-Hulk!

A close to the comic as a fan like me could have wanted and full of fun MCU stuff. No notes, though I can only hope Season 2 has more Jameela Jamil.

Every day, my life is in danger because I receive cat-calls on the street. A particularly gruesome example of this was when a man walked up to me on the street and said 'You look beautiful, and I'm sorry if this is inconveniencing your day, but I would love to treat you to dinner'. I immediately drew my pepper spray and sprayed him in the eyes while yelling 'R4pist!'

She-Hulk understands this and that is why I give it a 10/10.

Nah, just kidding. She-Hulk is terrible and sexist.… Expand

Fantastic Marvel series that is funny and cleverly written. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is in similar format as Ally McBeal was.

I was skeptical going in, but this has quickly become my favorite marvel show. It's funny, lighthearted, and I have been enjoying every episode. Jill Stevens, Jen's best friend, always makes me laugh, seeing the contrast between her and some of the super-powered characters is pretty wild. It really reminds us how ridiculous a world with super-powers would be, and I am so happy to see some of this explored.

I really hope they ignore reddit review bombing and make a second season. This show is exactly what I want to see more of from the Marvel universe.… Expand

Love this show!! its so funny and I love how she talks to the camera, just brilliant. I think people miss the point that hero's also have personal lives and need to make money as well as have romantic relationships. Went in not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. It's a solid MCU show and an interesting premise, looking forward to where it might go. Hah! I love this! I usually hate lawyer shows because they're so inaccurate, but this both captures realistic attorney and court procedure AND is a fun superhero story. LOVE Tatiana Maslany. She was so great in Orphan Black.

Only a couple of episodes in but enjoying it so far. Tatiana Maslany is perfectly cast as the main character, and the show is funny, clever and sharply scripted. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Oh boy, the user reviews are quite harsh. I really enjoyed the show. I didn't take it too seriously, and I never assumed for one minute that you were supposed to take it too seriously. It's a bit of an MCU themed sitcom starring Jennifer Walters who would love to be a successful attorney, but is now "cursed" - so to speak - with Hulk superpowers. I enjoyed the show, and kept wondering what the next episode would be about. There is a bit of a storyline in the background, but every episode tries to be its own little adventure. The story is not as serious as the biggest MCU films out there, it's rather silly and light. Perhaps it's not for everyone, but it's certainly was for me. I can however criticize the end of the season 1, which was faithful to the comics, but also a bit too "deus ex machina" and made the whole season felt unimportant in retrospect. Still, I hope the show gets more episodes in the future.

I won't criticize the special effects, people can react differently to that sort of thing. I wasn't annoyed by the CGI face of She-Hulk. Perhaps a few times it wasn't too well done, but overall, I didn't mind it. And generally speaking, I really like the design of the character, and the actress playing Jennifer in "human form", so to speak, is absolutely great.… Expand

My main criticism is just how short the episodes are. I understand their going for that Comedy TV style but I think they could be at least 40-45min in total. The CGI can be great one minute and bad the other. At least they prioritised the CGI for the action scenes. All the people calling this show "Woke Trash" and review bombing are idiots!… Expand

As such, 'important plot points' are being glossed over and I am not going to mention the finale, which sort of provided a 'narrative shortcut' to end everything up 'nicely'. A lot of people hate this, but Feige is definetelly tries to give his film makers / show runners a lot of leeway, be it with the Eternals, Ms Marvel and now this.… Expand

Having seen the first few episode my initial hunch is that the show tries to display the human side of being a superhero, as well as trying to appeal to the female audience. The occasional feminist issue is dosed nicely too, contrary to shows that go so much overboard in a particular issue that they deviate from the original story line. I also really hope that they alternate more than repeating one guest as they have done with Wong so far.
The show appears to be using its entire first season to introduce characters and as a prequel for whatever direction it intends to take in the next season.
It has potential, but really needs to develop more in several aspects. Some of the court stuff ofc needs to be there, but really takes up too much time, but that would be solved if they at least made the episodes longer - content of 15-20 mins is simply not enough.
My rating reflects the potential I see in the series… Expand

The thing is, this is THE ONE show that is SUPPOSED to be those things. The comic book is about a silly female lawyer with super strength. If you aren't a comic book nerd I don't get why people are watching these stupid Marvel movies in the first place. I just like them when they look and feel like the comic books I grew up with, and this accomplishes that for She Hulk as well as any Disney product could. She Hulk is supposed to say corny things to the camera and mock the Marvel Universe. She's supposed to tease the Hulk and not take him seriously. I am team Geeks and Gamers humbug on most of these modern cultural hot topics but why THIS is the show where mad fans take a stand bewilders me. I actually enjoy it enough to hope they get renewed, it might be the most accurate adaptation they've done yet and its an easy fun watch for me. Most of their other TV shows are way more garbage to me. Hawkeye was actually about a silly teen girl and was terrible, go hate on that one. That's not what a Hawkeye adaptation should be. She Hulk is supposed to be like this.… Expand

Yes, there's feminist content, at the same time, they make fun of women too while featuring non-cringey men as well. After decades of TV misogynistic TV shows (the MCU definitely has had a few sexist tendencies) the world can tolerate one MCU property on the other side of the fence. It seems as though many men don't realize that this is intended to be a comedy, and sitcoms in general tend to go over the top with its characterizations of people's personalities; random side characters in the show are often one dimensional representations of a trope. HIMYM Barney was an over the top one dimensional male character for most of the series embodying the same characteristics as some of the men on She-Hulk; the only difference is he got laid with his antics. I guess a number of men get upset when fictional men don't get laid with crappy behavior. That said, this show seems to have many of the same ingredients for re-watchability as HIMYM (I've already gone back on episodes).

If I have one bit of feedback for my fellow men; sit back, laugh, and don't take this show so personally. It's not about you if you don't make it about you.

Overall it feels like a much better addition to Marvel than some other properties (I'm looking at you, Ant-Man and Black Widow).… Expand

أو "اللي قادرة" نسخة مارفل ٢٠٢٢ .. أحداث الحلقة بتبدأ مع چين بنت عم هالك (بروس بانر) .. المحامية الشاطرة اللي فتحت مكتبها الخاص للتو .. ولكنها بتبقي هالك عن طريق الخطأ وبروس بيبدأ يأهلها عشانكلام عن الحلقة الأولي من she hulk من غير حرق ..

It was recently brought to my attention by a very good friend of mine that the show reviews were brutalizing it to an extremely high degree. I've seen the first 6 eps, and although it definitely has not been one of my faves, I had not drawn the same conclusion that some had come to and hated it because it had such a distasteful, all-men-are-scum vibe to it. Honestly, that never even entered my mind. My friend, who leans way more heavily into the DC realm when it comes to her superhero-flavored canon, was shocked that I had completely missed that aspect of the show. She got quite worked up over it, actually. She railed against the femdom aspect, somehow offended that none of the male characters seemed to have any redeeming qualities. I had just assumed that since she was an attorney, most of the men that she would come into contact with would not have the same moral compass as, say, your typical Avenger, and hadn't given it a second thought. I actually don't agree with that assessment, because Banner wasn't portrayed as a complete douchebag. The whole "Smart Hulk" thing is a serious departure from the traditional character, and he isn't nearly as sympathetic that way. But at least he's evolving (or DEvolving depending on your level of cynicism).

My problem with the show is that it just doesn't have that epic, story-telling quality that I've come to expect from the MCU. No intrinsically-evil supervillians bothered to show up. And the stories sadly reflected that. My overall rating? Prolly a 6. But definitely NOT a 1. Biatch, please!… Expand

I'm talking about the cameos. I mean, people were more interested in seeing Daredevil back. Let's tell it like it is.

She-Hulk doesn't seem to have contributed anything to the MCU with the exception of certain mentions and appearances, especially in the last episode.
Maybe it's the lack of direction that has abounded in phase 4, but it's just that I can't see how the introduction of all the new characters that have appeared is going to be of any use, other than creating content for the streaming service.

I admit that I didn't get the humor of this show and therefore didn't enjoy it. In my opinion it left a lot to be desired, but it's over now. Right now I just hope that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will repair the image of the MCU a bit, given how mediocre this phase has been so far.… Expand

I want to say that a show must not be good to be entertaining. This show is neither great, nor true garbage except the awful season final and I got some enjoyment out of it but it should have been better. To be fair I am myself not sure why I watched all episodes. For a comedy it should be more funny and for a super hero show it should have more super hero stuff. The courtroom drama worked while being under-cooked and used not enough. I would blame the writing and directing but am not sure if I am the target group and can make that statement (Who is the actual target group by the way?). Lets go to the source. I actually read the She Hulk comics in my youth and liked her stories. She is a super hero while being grounded by her job as lawyer (Child of both worlds?). Also the 4th wall breaks are source correct and it was before Deadpool started that if I remember correctly. This formula should have been the gold standard. Here a fight against super villains followed up by legal trials and real life proplems. Those trials could be the stuff of legends like all the problems superheroes could face. To be fair I see that they tried a bit of this. But they could not win me over. I liked the main actress Tatiana Maslay, Jameela Jamil, the guest stars I wont spoil and some of the humor. Sadly those could not turn the tide. The dialogues, pacing and ideas failed more than they hit. The final could not help as I thought WTF did I just saw. On paper it looks interesting and brilliant but on screen it did not work. The sets, costumes and CGI were fine. I expected a mess in the CGI department but the show delivered here. Overall I could still not answer why I watched the show. Would have given a 5/10 but go to a 4/10 for the last episode.… Expand

I honestly think I would have liked this show just a little bit more if it hadn’t started coming out less than a week after Better Call Saul, my favorite show of all time, ended. She-Hulk isn’t the “woke trash” that dumb people like to call it but this show isn’t good. It’s got some of the most uninteresting and bland presentation of any Marvel Studios production even though the 4th Wall Breaks add a nice change of pace. The cinematography and lighting feel like an afterthought because the show very rarely has any interesting lighting or camera setups except for one episode. Tatiana Maslany does a good job playing She-Hulk and I do hope she returns to the MCU at some point. Her performance was definitely one of the highlights of the show and some parts of her character development were interesting. Every other character here I found very boring and uninteresting even if the actors were doing a good job. I liked that they included Tim Roth in the show but they didn’t do a whole lot with him which was disappointing. The visual effects here aren’t great but I don’t blame the visual effects artists because they definitely weren’t given enough time to polish any of the effects before the show started airing. Episode 8 was the one episode I really liked and for one main reason, Charlie Cox as Daredevil. The Daredevil show is one of my favorite shows ever and seeing the writers actually properly write him was great plus his chemistry with Maslany was great. The finale however was probably the worst finale to an MCU show. It decides to go all meta but in going all meta they swap out a bad ending for no ending at all. Almost every plot point doesn’t feel properly wrapped up at all and just feels like they needed to end the show. I want to say I’m disappointed with this show but the MCU as of lately has been letting me down so much that I don’t feel disappointed anymore. I just feel sad. If you like the MCU shows then maybe you’ll enjoy this but I would recommend skipping it.… Expand

También creo que la saga es aceptable, el concepto de una mujer que tiene que lidiar con ser un fracaso, alguien quien no es vista por nadie, la soledad y por otro lado una Hulk que tiene que lidiar con su fama, nuevo trabajo y problemas. Además, mencionar que la vestimenta de la serie es increíble. Por otro lado, la calidad grafica no es para nada buena y es un claro efecto del poco tiempo que tuvieron para el post-procesado de la serie. Muchas veces no podía ni verlo de lo mal que se veía. Otra problema son los personajes. Sin duda son los peores personajes que vi en una serie/película de Marvel y decir que vi muchos personajes malos. No solo los personajes secundarios son irritables pero también tienen un desarrollo algo pobre. No me cayo ni uno bien. La comedia que manejan en esta serie es lo siguiente a triste, es tristísima. Nunca me dio tanto cringe los chistes de Marvel! Lo que me gusta de Marvel es la seriedad que tienen muchas series y el toque de comedia tonta (que te termina haciendo reír). They've been putting out so many movies and tv shows recently, that it's hard for me to keep up. She-Hulk isn't the final straw for me, but it's pretty close. I like Jennifer Walters as a character, but she feels better as a supporting character like Dr. Strange. The CGI isn't awful, but it could be so much better. The side characters feel pretty lifeless for the most part. I groaned when Bruce Banner said "bruh". Marvel tries so hard to use modern slang terminology, but almost always fails at it. For Wong, I can't say anything bad about him. He's Wong. Titania is another bland and boring MCU villain that Phase 4 is oh so proud of. As of this review, Matt Murdoch has yet to appear in She Hulk. But I don't think even HE can save this show! When it was revealed, I expected She Hulk to be a boring, lifeless show in Marvel's dull slate. Which it is.… Expand

They are tasteless and clearly bending behind this show's 'target' audience. As a guy, the first episode was enough to alienate me from the protagonist. The show has a clear baseline, 'women perfect' and 'men bad'. The show starts with neutering The Hulk. Jennifer Walters, the protagonist, spends the entire first episode belittling and speaking down to The Incredible Hulk. Since she is a 'woman', she is perfect, better, and clearly superior to Bruce Banner.
The character is as bland as it can be. The entire essence of her character is summarised within "woman" and "patriarchy". This story had no business taking a loved character and then attacking other loved characters which the MCU took a decade to build.
The 'story' if I can call it that, is poorly written. It has no business being a superhero story. This isn't about the hulk, it's written in poor taste and written for the target audience. It was pandering, condescending, and honestly made me not want to continue. Simply pushes an agenda on your face, in such a way that it's annoying. If you have a love for watching a story that is engaging and a character that is lovable, which you can get before and follow on their adventures, this is NOT it.
Marvel no longer knows how to write new characters without beating down older loved characters :)… Expand

Wow, just... Wow.... The show stared off well but it quickly gets worse with each passing episode.
Really, the problem isn't anything to do with sexism or misandry. It's a female orientated show, I'd expect that.

But is this what you guys want to see? A neurotic bumble fool? Both the same, in and out of She-Hulk form? The injustice this show deals out compared to the the source material is insulting to the actual, both physical and mentally strong version of the kick ass comic book counterpart.

As it stands, She-Hulk AAL doesn't work because it's set in the Movie-verse yet it's utterly slapstick and very childish. The execution is absolutely amateur hour. How can I explain this another way... Imagine Zack Snyder but the whole creative team is a bunch of female Zack Snyders and it's gone so far the other way, that it's now anti Snyder.... For every macho man Zack Snyder pumps out, the She-Hulk team will create weak goofy, neurotic females. If not then it's the stereo typical power tripping ones.

Seriously this offering is way more sexist towards women than if you got dude bro edgelords to run the show. She-Hulk AAL is nowhere near as empowered as the original comic book.… Expand

People watch superhero shows for escapism, for action, and for immersion. The final episode takes all of that and throws it in the trash. It leaves viewers feeling deflated and as if their investment into the show was a total joke. Breaking the fourth wall is like a fun little nod to the audience, but this was basically a slap in the face. It's like GOT the final season, doing something unexpected and betraying the whole build-up of the previous episodes. What a terrible waste of money and time. Finally, the disparity between critics' and viewers' ratings shows the clear favoritism the media has for this type of show. Unfortunately, I doubt this positivity translates to viewership and profit.… Expand

Oh boy. I'm not gonna rant on here as I really can't be bothered to anymore when it comes to comicbook movies/shows. But essentially we are now most definitely in the cooling down period as this genre falls off a cliff into completeOh boy. But essentially we are now most definitely in the cooling down period as this genre falls off a cliff into complete unrepentant repetitiveness. There is nothing original or fun here, it's just the same old CGI nonsense with the unwanted added bonus of left-leaning politics tossed in because they can't help themselves.

Frankly, I had a feeling that after the initial 'Endgame' saga ended, going forward things might start to get a bit thin on the ground, a bit desperate, as they try to repeat the same success. So far it simply has not happened as everything has either been mediocre or outright failed. The added political narratives that have been so obviously crowbarred into the mix simply don't help matters either.

But yes, this is essentially an agenda-driven show with a (bad) superhero wrapping. The ONLY reason it's managed to survive is because of the MCU tag and media critics (along with MCU/woke fanboys) shilling to keep the narrative/agenda chugging along.

You could quite easily make something fun here, but they decided not to...for whatever reasons. Apparently Twitter still controls the universe like some malevolent entity trying to prove/force a point and woe betide anyone who doesn't agree.

So, hopefully the superhero genre is slowly dying away. Thank God is all I can say. Totally sick of it. I've never experienced such an onslaught in my entire life of movie watching (and I'm currently 44). The last such onslaught was probably the western genre before my time and to a degree the dystopian sci-fi genre during the late 80's to early 90's, but that wasn't all mainstream.

Yet another **** addition to the "Marvel" series. The protagonist is a really privileged woman, who has a great job and faces almost no real challenges throughout the series because she somehow can't have any flaws. Really? Despite a promising first two episodes, the third fell off a cliff. It's a shameful attempt at sitcom. I will never watch She-Hulk again.

Really bad series. Humour falls flat, story is very poor. Carriers by the weight of appearances from other actors, characters and celebrities. The main character is cocky and arrogant. As a comedy, i don't like it, not at all, i don't recall a single joke that i thought was funny, as a Marvel series, it's pretty damm terrible, but the main reason why i'm writting this review it's because i was looking forward to a decentAs a comedy, i don't like it, not at all, i don't recall a single joke that i thought was funny, as a Marvel series, it's pretty damm terrible, but the main reason why i'm writting this review it's because i was looking forward to a decent legal series, i wasn't expecting a great one, of course not, but just a DECENT one, instead what we got was one of the worst legal series i have ever seen, it's downright HORRIBLE, and the worst it's that a world such as marvel had so much potential to tell interesting stories in the courtroom, but they wasted all of it. And the icing on the cake it's that they even had the nerve to casually admit it: “none of us are that adept at writing, you know, rousing trial scenes”
This is basically an insult, an insult to the audience and to the source material, do they remember that the protagonist IS A LAWYER?, this is so stupid for so many reasons, disney should have the minimum respect for the audience and hire some decent writters, they're not some small company, IT'S DISNEY that should be the bare minimum.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. You have got to be kidding me Marvel...
You took one of the best characters from the comics who has been adapted amazingly well to tv via the cartoons, and this is what you do with her?
Have her get into romances that go nowhere except set her up for a semi-finale villian reveal of it being their version of the site that can't be named on Metacritic / Youtubers that not only makes no sense since
A. The site that can't be named on Metacritic isn't known for hacking into award ceremonies nor are fans criticizing a show, most likely they would send someone like damage control (in this universe) claiming there's a problem and cause chaos that way if you really want to go there. Which is still build on broken glass to begin with
and
B. its is stuff everyone should know considering episode 5 had her bring the men from the previous episode and basically exposed the same thing. Yet somehow this plan works? Are these writers bad at continuity.
Meanwhile, they make other characters look stupid or something they just aren't. Everyone acts like an idiot other than Daredevil, and even he is wasted on this script. The finale was what happens if someone watched Doug Walkers "To Boldly Flee" and thought they could do it way better and on a higher scale. It's stupid, unfunny, and a complete waste of time.
The comedy is also abysmal and I rarely got a single laugh due to poor comedic timing or poor jokes.
The CGI also got a complete downgrade, even the hulk looks iffy here because they clearly either didn't have time or care enough to make it great. I mean, considering the finale, I wouldn't be shocked if it's the later. The FX team jokes were extremely tonedeaf.
This is the worst of Marvel's TV shows being a massive disappointment and a huge waste of time for everyone involved.
Don't watch this, it's a completely waste.… Expand

Die serie ist einfach nur ein schlechter Scherz und Trotzdem schafft sie den Spagat unlustieg zu sein. Traurig hierfür lebenszeit verschwendet zu haben. Die Serie ist genauso unnötieg, wie ein Wild unfall auf dem weg zur Arbeit.
