This is probably my favorite piece of the MCU. It's unfortunate that there's review bombing for the "woke" content. This both captures realistic attorney and court procedure while also being a fun superhero story. Tatiana Maslany kills.

i could not bring myself to watch the last 3 episodes due to cringyness. Character design is supid af and apart from we have 0.0 story conent. If SheHulk just even appears in one of the other MCU movies it will drop the viewings by 10 % just saying.

You have to be a extremely bad writer/director/producer to make something so great so bad. It's also extremely unethical to take someone's life's work and change the source material with such disrespect. Then, just to make everything so much worse, you add on top of that fan baiting. Fan Baiting is done on purpose to not only stir up controversy for publicity but also serves as a barrier to real criticism and ensures that the show will succeed because if anyone has a different opinion, they will just be labeled as a "racist/sexist/transphobe/etc." and their opinion is ignored. It's a method to make everyone think you're virtuous when really you're just a horrible person spreading hate with anyone who has a different opinion than your own. You act like you're fighting fascism by spreading and using fascism. It's hypocrisy in action.… Expand

I loved how it showed a woman's emotional strength, because we deal with it all the time. It was also nice how Bruce demonstrated that he is clearly stronger than her with that big rock. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Oh boy, the user reviews are quite harsh. I really enjoyed the show. I didn't take it too seriously, and I never assumed for one minute that you were supposed to take it too seriously. It's a bit of an MCU themed sitcom starring Jennifer Walters who would love to be a successful attorney, but is now "cursed" - so to speak - with Hulk superpowers. I enjoyed the show, and kept wondering what the next episode would be about. There is a bit of a storyline in the background, but every episode tries to be its own little adventure. The story is not as serious as the biggest MCU films out there, it's rather silly and light. Perhaps it's not for everyone, but it's certainly was for me. I can however criticize the end of the season 1, which was faithful to the comics, but also a bit too "deus ex machina" and made the whole season felt unimportant in retrospect. Still, I hope the show gets more episodes in the future.

I won't criticize the special effects, people can react differently to that sort of thing. I wasn't annoyed by the CGI face of She-Hulk. Perhaps a few times it wasn't too well done, but overall, I didn't mind it. And generally speaking, I really like the design of the character, and the actress playing Jennifer in "human form", so to speak, is absolutely great.… Expand

It's not often that I watch something so bad that it leaves me cringing anytime an advertisement pops up. Watched a couple episodes with my sister just to check out the new marvel phase and that is time I will never get back. The writing is insipid and lazy with no identity, even the show doesn't know what it's about. The CGI looks on par with a PlayStation 3 game, most of the time She-Hulks mouth isn't even correctly matching what words the character is speaking. The character of She-Hulk has been reduced to a vapid narcissist by the writing team. The one redeeming quality of the show is that it ends, and will hopefully not get another season of this pretentious, self-righteous steaming pile. This show is an insult to the legacy of the MCU, it was solely created to stroke the fragile egos of the "writers"...… Expand

People watch superhero shows for escapism, for action, and for immersion. The final episode takes all of that and throws it in the trash. It leaves viewers feeling deflated and as if their investment into the show was a total joke. Breaking the fourth wall is like a fun little nod to the audience, but this was basically a slap in the face. It's like GOT the final season, doing something unexpected and betraying the whole build-up of the previous episodes. What a terrible waste of money and time. Finally, the disparity between critics' and viewers' ratings shows the clear favoritism the media has for this type of show. Unfortunately, I doubt this positivity translates to viewership and profit.… Expand

I never thought that we could get this low when it comes to super hero movies. Heck, even calling this a super hero movie in of itself is already giving it too much credit.

Never in my life did I think we could go from deep and complex characters like Iron man or Thor, to a entitled woman in her mid 30's who is only interested in smashing, drinking wine, and teaching us about our male privilege's.

At this point, keep it up Disney/Marvel, I can't wait to see you bankrupt even sooner!… Expand

A close to the comic as a fan like me could have wanted and full of fun MCU stuff. No notes, though I can only hope Season 2 has more Jameela Jamil.

Para empezar el personaje de She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters) es un gran personaje y creo que suShe-Hulk... Que se puede decir de ésta serie ¿no? Sin duda es de las peores series de Marvel a mi parecer. Empecemos repasando los aspectos buenos. Para empezar el personaje de She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters) es un gran personaje y creo que su concepto es excelente. También creo que la saga es aceptable, el concepto de una mujer que tiene que lidiar con ser un fracaso, alguien quien no es vista por nadie, la soledad y por otro lado una Hulk que tiene que lidiar con su fama, nuevo trabajo y problemas. Además, mencionar que la vestimenta de la serie es increíble. Por otro lado, la calidad grafica no es para nada buena y es un claro efecto del poco tiempo que tuvieron para el post-procesado de la serie. Muchas veces no podía ni verlo de lo mal que se veía. Otra problema son los personajes. Sin duda son los peores personajes que vi en una serie/película de Marvel y decir que vi muchos personajes malos. No solo los personajes secundarios son irritables pero también tienen un desarrollo algo pobre. No me cayo ni uno bien. La comedia que manejan en esta serie es lo siguiente a triste, es tristísima. Nunca me dio tanto cringe los chistes de Marvel! Lo que me gusta de Marvel es la seriedad que tienen muchas series y el toque de comedia tonta (que te termina haciendo reír). Series como Hawkeye o Wandavision. También alguien explíqueme que le hicieron a Dardevil. Un personajes serio, genial, cool e intimidante; Convertido en un personaje que me dio bastante cringe. (Tengo miedo que va a pasar con su serie) Por ultimo, ¿romper la cuarta pared? No. Es muy difícil hacerlo de una buena manera. Cuando mostraron que una maquina controlaba la series de Marvel y todo eso, casi me da algo. HORRIBLE.

Me da muchísima pena odiar esta serie pero espero que en el futuro (con la serie donde esta el hijo de Hulk) no la caguen tanto. Supongo que de este error aprendieron bastante.… Expand

I honestly think I would have liked this show just a little bit more if it hadn’t started coming out less than a week after Better Call Saul, my favorite show of all time, ended. She-Hulk isn’t the “woke trash” that dumb people like to call it but this show isn’t good. It’s got some of the most uninteresting and bland presentation of any Marvel Studios production even though the 4th Wall Breaks add a nice change of pace. The cinematography and lighting feel like an afterthought because the show very rarely has any interesting lighting or camera setups except for one episode. Tatiana Maslany does a good job playing She-Hulk and I do hope she returns to the MCU at some point. Her performance was definitely one of the highlights of the show and some parts of her character development were interesting. Every other character here I found very boring and uninteresting even if the actors were doing a good job. I liked that they included Tim Roth in the show but they didn’t do a whole lot with him which was disappointing. The visual effects here aren’t great but I don’t blame the visual effects artists because they definitely weren’t given enough time to polish any of the effects before the show started airing. Episode 8 was the one episode I really liked and for one main reason, Charlie Cox as Daredevil. The Daredevil show is one of my favorite shows ever and seeing the writers actually properly write him was great plus his chemistry with Maslany was great. The finale however was probably the worst finale to an MCU show. It decides to go all meta but in going all meta they swap out a bad ending for no ending at all. Almost every plot point doesn’t feel properly wrapped up at all and just feels like they needed to end the show. I want to say I’m disappointed with this show but the MCU as of lately has been letting me down so much that I don’t feel disappointed anymore. I just feel sad. If you like the MCU shows then maybe you’ll enjoy this but I would recommend skipping it.… Expand

Absolute garbage. Nothing else. This show tries to be a 'badass show about a female superhero/lawyer', but instead it is POORLY WRITTEN AND HORRIBLY ACTED. I watched She Hulk week after week in the hope that the weekly cliffhanger would finally make something exciting happen.
Unfortunately far from it.
In each episode it got worse and worse. It's an absolute mystery to me how you can screw up a story with so much potential.
Not enough with She Hulk herself being her own caricature and neither doing a feminist service nor telling a comprehensible story, no, practically every character in this universe of shame is ripped apart, eaten, digested and... well, let's call it disposed of by the creators.
What they did to Abomination defies description.
DareDevil has become a total schmuck.
Virtually all the men in this series are complete idiots. However... so are the women.
Even if you look at the story detached from M-She-U, the story is complete **** because apparently no one bothered to call a lawyer in advance and ask him to act as a legal expert.
In fact everything, really absolutely everything in this series is intellectual dregs and really not worth the time to write about.
Why I'm doing this is because I need to get it off my chest. Because this trash is so disgusting and disgusting that it cauterizes your eyes while watching it.
And as if all this were not enough, this attack on mental health is also actually misogynistic.
So you really have to get that right first.

As a comedy, i don't like it, not at all, i don't recall a single joke that i thought was funny, as a Marvel series, it's pretty damm terrible, but the main reason why i'm writting this review it's because i was looking forward to a decentAs a comedy, i don't like it, not at all, i don't recall a single joke that i thought was funny, as a Marvel series, it's pretty damm terrible, but the main reason why i'm writting this review it's because i was looking forward to a decent legal series, i wasn't expecting a great one, of course not, but just a DECENT one, instead what we got was one of the worst legal series i have ever seen, it's downright HORRIBLE, and the worst it's that a world such as marvel had so much potential to tell interesting stories in the courtroom, but they wasted all of it. And the icing on the cake it's that they even had the nerve to casually admit it: “none of us are that adept at writing, you know, rousing trial scenes”
This is basically an insult, an insult to the audience and to the source material, do they remember that the protagonist IS A LAWYER?, this is so stupid for so many reasons, disney should have the minimum respect for the audience and hire some decent writters, they're not some small company, IT'S DISNEY that should be the bare minimum.… Expand

It has potential, Tatiana Maslany is a good actress, it's a shame that even though it's a SF it's still loaded with political propaganda and controversial everyday issues. Also I dislike the bad atempt of "smashing" the forth wall.

I was skeptical going in, but this has quickly become my favorite marvel show. It's funny, lighthearted, and I have been enjoying every episode. Jill Stevens, Jen's best friend, always makes me laugh, seeing the contrast between her and some of the super-powered characters is pretty wild. It really reminds us how ridiculous a world with super-powers would be, and I am so happy to see some of this explored.

I really hope they ignore reddit review bombing and make a second season. This show is exactly what I want to see more of from the Marvel universe.… Expand

No, they didn't troll trolls, they ARE the trolls. A troll isn't someone who disagrees with you or dislikes your mess of a show, it's someone who actively tries to make you angry - the writers and stars. THEY were, literally, the bad guys of the show, not the fans who dislike garbage taken from a good source.

All their claims about women super heroes or whatever nonsense they're spewing is ridiculous. She-Hulk comics and cartoons existed and were popular (a popular female superhero, imagine that?!) decades before these trolls got their hands on the IP and trashed it for a laugh. Everyone but them seems to know who the joke's really on.

They could have made a good series (well, maybe not these people) and had good ratings, but they had to prove women had it rough by making a bad show. What idiot thinks forcefully fulfilling a self-made false prophecy is a good thing? They wanted to be angry at fans who didn't like their stuff, so the made stuff that fans wouldn't like - brilliant!

I won't ever watch the starring trollette or anything made by the writer trolls in anything else ever again. I think when they see how many people feel the same, they won't be laughing. :D… Expand

Equally as dumb is claiming that an average woman has to control her anger way more than somebody who literally turns into an uncontrollable killing machine when he gets mad. Or as dumb as showing Hulk throwing a boulder into the atmosphere in one scene and him getting overpowered by a regular-a** Jeep in the next. This is garbage made for basic white girls sitting on the couch with two blankets and eight pillows, sipping Pumpkin Spice Latte, yelling "YOU GO GIRRRRL!" at the screen. CGI looks bad, jokes don't land, the fourth-wall-breaks are completely superfluous and feel forced. Don't waste your time by watching this.… Expand

I’m now coming to the conclusion of how wrong it was of me to cave into this awful current landscape. The first time writing the review, I toned down my opinions for the same reasons. To put it simply She-Hulk is not a good show. The actress of She-Hulk desperately tries to save the show. You can really see Tatiana Maslany does everything in her power to try to salvage the garbage script and plot. If she wasn’t the actress playing She-Hulk, I doubt I would have been able to make it through all 9 episodes. If you were to make a cringe compilation of She-Hulk, you would simply be re-uploading the entire show. The main villains of the show is the critical viewer… yep. Disney (a multi billion dollar corporation) got so offended by the fans being disappointed by the MCU’s recent phase 4 output that they decided to label them as misogynist “man babies.” Firstly, I would like to say how absurdly embarrassing it is that a company decided to make fun of it’s core audience complains whilst completing ignoring there requests. In addition, how completely childish the storyline is! Also, how completely false their accusation is - it’s not just straight white men who dislike modern marvel, it’s EVERYONE! The current most popular opinion of the MCU is that it fell off! The problem is not female superheroes. The problem is Marvel’s (recent) female characters! Remember when Marvel used to make good female characters like; Gamora, Nebula, and Hela? What’s changed! Why can’t Marvel make actually interesting female characters anymore? She-Hulk had great potential to make an amazing superhero-lawyer show, but instead they decided to make this absolute garbage. In the final episode (spoilers) they have a fourth wall break where She-Hulk goes to Marvel HQ (whatever, I have no hope left for the show’s redemption). She-Hulk meets with the robot Kevin and starts talking about how garbage the current finale was! They knew what they were making was bad! And they still did it! They then have a meta “joke” about how the camera has to move because it’s too expensive to have Jen transform back into her human form. Great timing Marvel Disney! You’ve recently had reports of overworking and underpaying the VFX artists! They then skip the finale (whatever) and cut to a family eating scene (a scene I actually enjoyed). Bruce Hulk then comes in and introduces his son - surprise! Hopefully, they will actually do something interesting with his son. CW’s arrowverse was leagues better! Now that marvel has the multiverse, I really wish I could travel to the multiverse where She-Hulk was a good show! Better yet, the multiverse where Disney doesn’t keep milking this old cow for the sake of money over art! Current MCU has me feeling real depressed, after Thor: Love and Thunder I gave up hope. Now I’m wondering for the superhero genre has a whole. A part of me wishes it would just die out. A genre I used to be obsessed with - I find myself disappointed in.… Expand

I don't usually bother making reviews for shows or movies. It never seemed to matter. I'm just one voice, drowned in an ocean of differing opinions. I'm just one voice, drowned in an ocean of differing opinions. However, this travesty of entertainment has driven me to speak up. It goes without saying that life sucks. Sometimes, I don't know why I even keep on living. Usually, the only thing that has brought me much joy or hope for the future has been films. I absolutely love movies. I love going to the theater. I love watching trailers. For the longest time, my biggest motivation in life is the excitement I get from the next big blockbuster. The MCU has been by far one of the biggest drivers of that excitement. And now it is gone.

I have watched as the film industry has become more and more hostile to not only general audiences, but specifically people like myself. Yes, I am the stereotypical single white guy living with his parents. I was raised with fairly conservative beliefs. But I am no bigot. I grew up idolizing characters of every race, male and female. I absolutely adore well written LGBT characters and stories, such as in Steven Universe or Helluva Boss. I yearn for more diverse and original stories. But they are not forthcoming. Modern writers seem to be so creatively bankrupt that they can only defile and pervert beloved characters and franchises. There have been many disappointing releases over the last few years. The trailer for Star Wars: Episode 7 awoke a fire in my heart that I didn't even realize was still there, after all those years ago when I watched the original trilogy for the first time, on good old VHS. Then The Last Jedi came along and killed it forever. Just thinking of Star Wars makes me sick. After the insane ending of Infinity War, I was incredibly excited for Captain Marvel. Then I watched it. Enough said. I was even excited for the likes of Morbius and Lightyear. I hoped for the best, and was completely let down. Again and again I have had the rug pulled out from under me, but I still dared to hope that the next one would be better. And then the trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released.

It was disgusting from the get-go. The terrible jokes,the lackluster visuals, the distinct anti-male slant that was evident even then. Ironically, it was a show that I wasn't hyped for that has finally killed the MCU for me. I don't even watch Marvel shows, never have. I stuck to the films for the overarching story. I wasn't going to watch this show either way. They could have done just about anything and I wouldn't have cared. But the sheer vitriol and hatred that the writers have displayed towards people like me, the people just trying to get through life one story at a time, has shaken me. They hate us. They want to take everything we love and destroy it, just to hurt us. I just want to watch good movies. I don't care what the characters look like. Man or woman, gay or straight, black or white, I just want characters I can look up to. Worlds I can escape to. This show has taken that from me. I can't stomach the MCU anymore. It's only going to get worse. In a world that is getting worse by the day, I can't even look forward to anything better. There are still good movies coming out, but they are few and between, and they always catch me off guard. They honestly seem to come out of nowhere. I don't watch trailers anymore. I haven't been to the theater in almost a year, and I don't know when I'll ever go again. This review, if anyone has bothered to read it, undoubtedly comes off as egotistical and whiny. It's all about me, me, me. Yeah, because stories are personal to me. They are to a lot of people. We are the ones who suffer the most at the hands of those who do not care. People who see stories as mouthpieces for their beliefs and insecurities. That would be fine, if they created their own stories. But that's not good enough. They must have ours. Like a petulant child snatching a toy away, they want it just because we love it. I sincerely hope these insufferable pieces of human excrement are evicted from the film industry never to return. Until then, we must suffer them still. Whoever reads this far, I hope you can find something to look forward to. Something that excites you and makes the future seem just a bit brighter.… Expand

I'm talking about the cameos. I mean, people were more interested in seeing Daredevil back. Let's tell it like it is.

She-Hulk doesn't seem to have contributed anything to the MCU with the exception of certain mentions and appearances, especially in the last episode.
Maybe it's the lack of direction that has abounded in phase 4, but it's just that I can't see how the introduction of all the new characters that have appeared is going to be of any use, other than creating content for the streaming service.

I admit that I didn't get the humor of this show and therefore didn't enjoy it. In my opinion it left a lot to be desired, but it's over now. Right now I just hope that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will repair the image of the MCU a bit, given how mediocre this phase has been so far.… Expand

I want to say that a show must not be good to be entertaining. This show is neither great, nor true garbage except the awful season final and I got some enjoyment out of it but it should have been better. To be fair I am myself not sure why II want to say that a show must not be good to be entertaining. To be fair I am myself not sure why I watched all episodes. For a comedy it should be more funny and for a super hero show it should have more super hero stuff. The courtroom drama worked while being under-cooked and used not enough. I would blame the writing and directing but am not sure if I am the target group and can make that statement (Who is the actual target group by the way?). Lets go to the source. I actually read the She Hulk comics in my youth and liked her stories. She is a super hero while being grounded by her job as lawyer (Child of both worlds?). Also the 4th wall breaks are source correct and it was before Deadpool started that if I remember correctly. This formula should have been the gold standard. Here a fight against super villains followed up by legal trials and real life proplems. Those trials could be the stuff of legends like all the problems superheroes could face. To be fair I see that they tried a bit of this. But they could not win me over. I liked the main actress Tatiana Maslay, Jameela Jamil, the guest stars I wont spoil and some of the humor. Sadly those could not turn the tide. The dialogues, pacing and ideas failed more than they hit. The final could not help as I thought WTF did I just saw. On paper it looks interesting and brilliant but on screen it did not work. The sets, costumes and CGI were fine. I expected a mess in the CGI department but the show delivered here. Overall I could still not answer why I watched the show. Would have given a 5/10 but go to a 4/10 for the last episode.… Expand

The villains of the show were internet trolls until the plot twist of "it was all the writers fault" in the 4th wall break in the finale. So it was purposely bad to be meta.

Where you watching the show thinking none of these stories in the episodes interconnected in a coherent way? That was on purpose to make a Meta joke about how bad the writing is in other marvel shows and movies. Were you thinking side and guest characters have been dumbed down? That was on purpose!

This was a constant theme through out the season. Bad writing that was called out seconds after it happened. If you are smart enough to know what people complain about why not fix it? Give it some real stakes takes us through someones personal story.

The character of Jennifer/She-hulk does not go through any growth or face any challenges that aren't immediately solved in her favor. So the show is mostly about her not getting her way initially, complaining and finally doing the bare minimum to get it fixed.

The show bashes other movies and TV shows but has a Life line to other more interesting characters. Like she couldn't carry the weight of her own show. Which they call out but they keep on doing and complaining about it.

This is the first time that in the MCU that I have thought about how a character is detrimental not to her self but to others around her from a Meta way. DareDevil's code of ethics and rules put him at odds with his faith and friends and that makes a good show. Jen's bad guy is the writers. Remember they purposely made Wong, abomination, Titania and Bruce dumb so they could have a conflict. What does she want? To be a successful female Lawyer. What's stopping her? Bad writing. I hope they rework her in a way that she is not toxic to others character, but until that happens pls keep her away from the MCU. Hope Deadpool gives her a master class on the how to break the 4th wall.… Expand

Every day, my life is in danger because I receive cat-calls on the street. A particularly gruesome example of this was when a man walked up to me on the street and said 'You look beautiful, and I'm sorry if this is inconveniencing your day, but I would love to treat you to dinner'. I immediately drew my pepper spray and sprayed him in the eyes while yelling 'R4pist!'

She-Hulk understands this and that is why I give it a 10/10.

Honestly, I love the show. I've never read the comics but I enjoy the change. I've enjoyed all the Marvel tv shows so far but this one is near the top.

You took one of the best characters from the comics who has been adapted amazingly well to tv via the cartoons, and this is what you do with her?
Have her get into romances that go nowhere except set her up for a semi-finale villian reveal of it being their version of the site that can't be named on Metacritic / Youtubers that not only makes no sense since
A. The site that can't be named on Metacritic isn't known for hacking into award ceremonies nor are fans criticizing a show, most likely they would send someone like damage control (in this universe) claiming there's a problem and cause chaos that way if you really want to go there. Which is still build on broken glass to begin with
and
B. its is stuff everyone should know considering episode 5 had her bring the men from the previous episode and basically exposed the same thing. Yet somehow this plan works? Are these writers bad at continuity.
Meanwhile, they make other characters look stupid or something they just aren't. Everyone acts like an idiot other than Daredevil, and even he is wasted on this script. The finale was what happens if someone watched Doug Walkers "To Boldly Flee" and thought they could do it way better and on a higher scale. It's stupid, unfunny, and a complete waste of time.
The comedy is also abysmal and I rarely got a single laugh due to poor comedic timing or poor jokes.
The CGI also got a complete downgrade, even the hulk looks iffy here because they clearly either didn't have time or care enough to make it great. I mean, considering the finale, I wouldn't be shocked if it's the later. The FX team jokes were extremely tonedeaf.
This is the worst of Marvel's TV shows being a massive disappointment and a huge waste of time for everyone involved.
Don't watch this, it's a completely waste.… Expand

Really bad series. Humour falls flat, story is very poor. Carriers by the weight of appearances from other actors, characters and celebrities. The main character is cocky and arrogant. Entertaining, almost always funny, with only a few cringe moments. I love how this show doesn't take itself seriously, the sitcom style is just so refreshing! Episode 7 was but Daredevil and the final episode were amazing! The performances were amazing from Tatiana, Ginger, Jameela, Josh and of course, Charlie are mind-blowing. My main criticism is just how short the episodes are. I understand their going for that Comedy TV style but I think they could be at least 40-45min in total. The CGI can be great one minute and bad the other. At least they prioritised the CGI for the action scenes. All the people calling this show "Woke Trash" and review bombing are idiots!… Expand

Terrible CGI, She Hulk looks like a Sim. Too many attention-stealing cameos. Good ideas badly executed. Finale was the worst MCU finale by far. It only has 2 good episodes, 1 & 8, the rest is trash. It's a really good introductory series for She-Hulk and the last few episodes were really good. The way it's connecting everything is great.
