It deals with serious matters that are on the rise in our society today with the greatest possible sensitivity.
    Everyone should see this series!
On the other hand, everything has its bad side, and in this series, the bad side is the jokes at all times that are rarely funny.

I loved season 1, but the whole feminism thing in season 2 felt very overdone and forced. I love how the show really shows the struggles of being a teenager, but it felt mostly one sided towards women being oppressed and putting the male characters in a more negative light. I was worried the show might take a strong left political turn, was some hints in the first season. It's just a really kind of good teenage serials, that make me believe in this curious situations. I am very glad to see how people have face to face with their problem and how they solve it. The 7th series was an ethalon of friendship and helping each other, so i felt the same emotions like a character which was there. "Sex education" is very educational and if u are the same age with character on the screen, you can learn a lot of useful stuff, i hope. P.S. it is also worked for your parents

With all the love triangles and betrayals Sex Education can feel a bit like a teen soap opera at times, but its humour and the way it tackles the sorts of issues not often spoken about on TV, means it is still pretty entertaining.

In season two, not only was the treatment of the characters different, the themes were also more diverse. Thus, the intention to include more affective-sexual diversity is noticeable. Even though there has been an unromanticized and serious discussion about sexuality before, the new season brilliantly evolves its narrative by discussing the incidence of asexuality and bisexuality. Even though there has been an unromanticized and serious discussion about sexuality before, the new season brilliantly evolves its narrative by discussing the incidence of asexuality and bisexuality. The series also covered discussions about how couples (even adults) generally don't talk about their preferences and desires in a sexual relationship, and how this directly affects how we behave around our partners. And, above all, it analyzes the need to bear in mind that marriages can fall apart if we do not nurture it lovingly and sexually. Expand

Great actors, great writing and great cinematography for a story where sex is a mix of funny and mysterious matters and true love and sentiments are right around the corner waiting to be catched up.

The second season of Sex Education starts off where season one ended. Otis has a girlfriend called Ola, Meave is expelled, Tom is send to the military academy. I'm stating this, because the first season is rendered pretty much pointless within two episodes. It's a lottery.

While the humor and use of interesting sexual dilemma's is still present, the logic behind characters is like an unguided missile. Characters that took an entire season to characterize will do something completely different, like completely different things and events are reversed as if they were nothing. It doesn't degrade the quality of the show, but it does feel as if it was written by a someone who didn't care about the first season.

But nonetheless, it's entertaining to watch. A bunch of silly people do silly things, have silly dilemma's and eat fried chicken. I give it a 7/10.

But overall, they chose many topics about sexuality and represented (or explained) them very well, like asexuality, the morning-after pill issue, the sexual aggression and other topics that doesn't have to do with sexuality but with teenagers, like the pressure parents can put on them.

The parent’s problems feel minor to those of their offspring and their storylines can be a bit too drawn out. “Sex Education” easily overcomes that minor quibble because Nunn and her cast have created a universe of characters that you inherently want to root for. And it’s so entertaining that after eight almost-hour long episodes it somehow feels like a quickie. And, yes, that’s a compliment.

For the most part, the storytelling in Season 2 continues to be masterly—plot arising from character and observation, almost all of it tremendously satisfying. But as Otis’s behavior deviates farther and farther from what he might advise others to do, culminating in an excruciating scene of drunken public jerkiness, I found myself wishing that the writers had made different choices, my suspension of disbelief pierced. Other elements help compensate.

Otis, Maeve, and Eric’s stories are the meat of this season, but the most compelling threads emerge when the show grants unexpected complexity to characters in the periphery.
