She’s still still living on cloud cuckoo land, and is still trying to project a fictional version of her idyllic life where she loves being a new mom and has a successful career. As the viewers, we know that this is complete BS. The reality is that she couldn’t handle caring for a newborn by herself, and ends up killing her son Jericho. Yes, Dorothy is pretentious and self-centered, but one kind of feels really sorry for her.
This episode shows that Leanne - and not the Lesser Saints cult members - is now the real danger. One can’t help but wonder if the Lesser Saints members, in their own demented way, were right about her - that she’s misusing her powers and should t have brought Jericho back to life.
In this episode, Leanne shows that she has the emotional maturity of a five year old, and uses her powers to bend the Turners towards her will and lash out at someone she doesn’t like.
