Schitt's Creek's final season was better than I could have ever imagined, it is my favorite final season of any show I have ever seen, and I have just loved the concept of this show since the beginning. Catherine O'Hara, Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, and Annie Murphy gave the most astounding leading performances over the entire series but especially this last season and to me some of the best performances in TV history. The supporting performances from Emily Hampshire, Noah Reid, Sarah Levy, Jennifer Robertson, Chris Elliott, Karen Robinson, Rizwan Manji, and John Hemphill were phenomenal. The entire cast are just hilarious and have the most remarkable chemistry, they play off of each other so perfectly. The writing was exceptional this season and hilarious and very touching especially the series finale, the character development was just superb especially with the lead characters with Alexis finally finding her true passion in life, with David finding someone he truly loves and loves him back to spend the rest of his life with, and Johnny and Moira finally getting back on their feet and finding themselves again with getting to do what they love. These characters are some of the most magnificently created characters of all time, especially Moira and David Rose, that were fueled by the performances by the cast that just brought these characters to life. The costumes are just spectacular especially the ones wore by Catherine O'Hara and Dan Levy. The makeup and hairstyling is outstanding especially on Catherine O'Hara (her wigs are so funny and crazy I just love them), Annie Murphy, Chris Elliot, Sarah Levy, Jennifer Robertson, Dustin Milligan, Emily Hampshire, Dan Levy, and Eugene Levy. I have loved the music since the beginning it is just outstanding. The setting is just splendid, I have just loved the rustic small-town look since the first episode. One of the biggest reasons why I love this show so much is because of how much love, acceptance, diversity, and equality this show has and how Dan Levy’s character David’s sexuality is accepted by everyone with no questions asked ever. I am really going to miss the Rose family but it could have not ended in a better, more perfect and beautiful way then it did, this will forever be my favorite comedy show of all time and overall my favorite show I have ever watched. This is the season where these characters shine the brightest and showcase the carefully crafter character development Dan Levy produced throughout the previous 5 seasons

This show was recommended to me by a friend. The first few episode I only found okay to mildly amusing but soon after that I was having to pause the television to recover from laughing so much. An absolute gem of a show that I never wanted to end. Thank you to all those who gave us this fantastic feel good show.

This TV show is one for the books in my words. It is everything that makes a television sitcom a true comedy. It is a great storyline, simple and not too much to keep in line. If you miss one episode, you can easily jump right in and still get a good laugh. You can guarantee a laugh EVERYTIME you watch this show! Every character is perfectly casted and the setting is perfect. I amThis TV show is one for the books in my words. It is everything that makes a television sitcom a true comedy. Moira Rose and David are my absolute favs of the show. Although, they all are absolutely perfect together. Expand

Dan Levy’s series remains as funny—sometimes acidly, sometimes daffily, never cheaply—as ever.

The continued excellence of Schitt’s Creek makes it even more painful that this sweet, funny show will soon end. But the preparations for Patrick and David’s wedding and the renewed question of whether or not the Roses will stay put establish steady footing for the portions of season six that follow the episodes screened for critics.

The striking thing about Schitt’s Creek is in how writing this quick and smart and performances as finely calibrated as these exist on a show without cynicism, crudeness, glibness, or the kind of tortured darkness that has come to define what we consider “great” comedy. It’s masterful comedy that exists in a happy world.
