  1. This really is a Robin of Locksley for the "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" generation.

For the willing, it's still a story worth hearing. [2 Mar 2007, p.64]
  3. If there is a chink to this series' armor, it is in the casting of Armstrong in the title role.
  4. You'll get hooked on it early and should stick around to the very end -- even though you have a good idea of what's coming.
  5. Briskly paced and amusingly corny.
  6. "Robin Hood" boasts most of the usual problems with low-budget epics.... But the show has wit and energy.

I wish the show had a little more verisimilitude--the peasants' homes look cheap, not poor--but it's zippy mindless fun. [5 Mar 2007, p.37]

If this attempt to put a youthful spin on Robin Hood isn't bad per se, it's at best a warmed-over remake that would be diverting for kids if it wasn't occasionally quite violent.

It's badass, awesome and it's approopriate for children. I think Jonas was the perfect choice for Robin Hood. Also, Keith Allen was the best Sherriff ever and Richard Armitage is hot as hell. It's not as predictable as you think, dialogue is suberb, it has some cheesy moments but who cares? It's so entertaining, emotional and hilarious at times. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better series! I especially LOVE Richard Armitage as Sherriff's right hand, Guy of Gisbourne....
Last but not least, it doesn't include bad language, sex and nudity. Thank God!
