The plot makes no sense whatsoever, and a scene where a woman is tortured by being tainted with honey proves it. Terrible and incoherent plot twists and a bipolar character who is not only stupid, but annoying. He has been a quarterback, a musician, a boxer, a convict, a fugitive, a gang-member, the assistant of a mobster and the leader of three dumb organizations named: The Red Circle, The Black Circle and The Dark Circle. And dont make me start with Veronica or Chreyl.
All seasons are bad, although while the first one is somehow enjoyable, the second one is overwelmmingly terrible and the third one is the worst thing ive ever seen on tv.

Despite on-demo pop culture references, a trendy soundtrack and a game cast (the kid from Big Daddy!), "Riverdale" takes itself way too seriously. It's "Twin Peaks" Lite when it could be Wes Craven meets "Clueless."

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Riverdale is amazing show! When I started watching I thought I would not like that much but when I got involved in the story, wanting to know who killed Jason I started to love it!
I always suspected that Clifford had killed Jason...

    "A dark and twisted atmosphere!"
    "Similar to Twin Peaks!"

That were some of the things I've read before I've started watching this show. Are they true? NOT AT ALL! This is high school drama for teens with terrible acting and very, very bad dialogues. Comparing this disaster with Twin Peaks should be a crime. Don't wast your time if you are more than 15 years older.

Riverdale is the TV equivalent to taking crack (I assume), it's addictive, not good for the body or mind and is really overall garbage. Saying this, it's fun garbage. I love watching impossibly terrible actors try to make sense of overly dramatic scenarios and situations. The town of Riverdale seems to have more secrets than the CIA.

Riverdale is a brilliant, fun and addictive show since Gossip Girl. The show has that special thing that makes it so fun to watch. Besides that the show is really addictive (like Pretty Little Liars), it's brilliant plot and humour and most of all it's amazing actors will definitely keep this show alive for atleast five years.

The show gives us yet another high school mystery, but manages to bring something new to the table. There's more than enough to praise about this show, from its stunning photography to its well developed characters. But it's also benefits from being a series suitable for all ages. Two thumbs up!!

The show starts of with some promise but as you watch further into the season becomes more and more disappointing. The plot is a little too dull and very slow. Embora a história possa aparentar interessante, os personagens não nos convencem, caso não formos adolescentes.DE FATO,o público alvo da série é adolescentes e isso afasta outras faixas etárias .As atuações são bobas e isso reflete na qualidade da série.

While it feels strange to say this, now that Homeland has gotten dull and 24 has lost its edge with the new guy, and since Breaking Bad is long gone (Better Call Saul doesn't cut it for me, sorry) - Riverdale is the best drama on TV right now. The improbable idea of taking the characters from innocent Archie comics and casting them into a Twin Peaks atmosphere has worked like a charm. If it bothers you that they're spoiling your childhood memories, I get that, but I like the idea.

Without spoiling any secrets, the setup is this: a young man thought drowned has instead washed up on the bank of a river in Riverdale with a bullet in his head. His twin sister who had claimed he'd drowned when they were canoeing together is now somewhat suspect. The fact that this kid was the boyfriend of Betty's older sister (of Betty and Veronica fame) connects the mystery to our familiar cast, Betty, Veronica, Archie, Jughead, and Josie and the poosiekats (yeah believe it or not they censor that word if spelled correctly). The show has less kooky style than Twin Peaks had, but on the other hand the story so far makes a heck of a lot more sense and the characters are far more believable and have more depth as true human beings than was ever true in Twin Peaks. If you like David Lynch, Twin Peaks, thrillers, mysteries, you should give this a shot. It's not just a gimmick by any means.

This show is awful. It is more like a more gender balanced Pretty Little Liars or Gossip Girl than Archie. I hope nothing good happens to whoever came up with this crime against humanity.

Fantastic cast with a gripping story. Full of twists and end of episode cliffhangers. Thoroughly recommend watching if your into who dun-it mysteries.

The Show has multiple story lines linking into the major story of the show alongside romantic escapades.

This is by far my favourite show of 2017, looking forward to Season 2.

Take a family favourite cartoon series, insert a dull plot, engage some mostly boring actors and wa-lar you have Riverdale. It is some sad attempt at teen drama. I am still at ep 3 waiting for the plot to actually develop into something with teeth.

It's a cool take on archie comics, making it more modern, it's not a wonder, but it's really enjoyable, with secrets and some high school teenage drama cliches that are kind of a guilty pleasure for me personally

A great homage to the Archie gang with a modern twist. Surprisingly capable of paying homage to Archie characters past and present as well as the tone. Great music and compelling stories.

The actors are absolutely atrocious(partially not their fault though). The writing is completely horrible, but Betty's mom is pretty hot! I feel bad for the young actors here. Way to ruin a career before it's even begun--thanks to the writers and producers! Geeze

Riverdale reinterprets the comic characters very well, making them individual and relatable. 'Riverdale' gathers the best of The CW with its teen-oriented soap and lovable mysterious characters. It still has to grow as a show, but the beginning is quite interesting and enjoyable.

Having grown up with the comics makes this show all the more engaging. That being said, the characters are believable and in spite of the over the top storyline, it is a show that never tries to be cool. It just is cool.

Either way, am pretty sure I will stay till atleast the end of the season.

The joys and subversions of artistry have fallen away, and brand management--combining the appearance of sex and self-awareness, but none of the real thing--is a poor substitute. But if, like Riverdale, you hit all the notes, it can be hard to tell the difference.

A dark (can I say "dark" enough here?) teen soap more in the vein of "Pretty Little Liars" than a comic book come to life.
