Dec 9, 2019The show went from a smart multilayered humor with great character depth that I was ok letting my son watch sometimes to just saying **** a lot and having slut dragons being creepy. There a few fun moments but not enough. I hope the season picks up, if not season 4 might kill the franchise. I love this show but this season is a big step backwards.

Dec 29, 2019I can defend season 3, but season 4 is just awful. The show seems completely different from the first 3 seasons and it's actually difficult to get through each episode. It's a real shame considering how good it used to be.

May 12, 2020Feels like Dan left or is self sabotaging. I can only hope this entire season is a call back joke to the gas leak year. The writing feels rushed and uninspired. The flashy animation can't make up for poor writing and underwhelming story lines.

Dec 22, 2019Rick and Morty season 4 is just disappointing. The storylines are overreaching and rushed. The plots just seem random and confusing.. it's all missing the depth. Not worth watching.

Dec 16, 2019Тупое говно блять , тупого говна , сосите хуй , с такими тупыми шутками

Dec 9, 2019I can not express my feelings enough. They absolutely obliterated Rick's personality. All the jokes are stupid and flat. If you ever think about watching this season... don't, it's not worth your time. Ep4 was the last straw.

Nov 26, 2019This season is as **** as 2nd episode was. Rick is literally a dumb and boring version of himself in previous seasons. Don't watch it please.

Feb 6, 2020Trying to be funny waaaay to hard and picking up on nowadays trends makes it more cringy than funny. laughed about twice in the 5 episodes I watched. Go back to the season 1-2 days

Nov 27, 2019this is what TV needs instead of the woke, PC propaganda we are fed every day.

-
Nov 3, 2020sexual ≠ funny, yet this is the whole premise of season 4. its going the Simpsons route.
-
Dec 7, 2020Lame in every aspect honestly. Just nothing special anymore the first 2 seasons were great but the 4th was pretty bad
Especially the ending made me dislike the series now. I also don't think season 5 will be better so consider this series to be dead actually -
Oct 30, 2021Season 4 is where it started to go downhill and unfortunately season 5 is even worse.

In ways both refreshing and disappointing, it is indeed a throwback to a simpler Rick and Morty, with lower emotional stakes, some of the show’s signature inventiveness, and more straightforward sci-fi adventure. “Edge of Tomorty” isn’t the funniest the show has ever been, and it is far from the most meaningful. But the episode does boast a wildly profane imagination, gruesome visual contortions, and the self-awareness needed to poke fun at its own slightness.
-
The season 4 premiere was outrageously confident, and generally outrageous. Rick and Morty is angrily funny, powered by Rick’s galactic cynicism and a tendency toward hysterical navel-gazing criticism. The self-awareness would be annoying, if there wasn’t so much self there.
-
“Edge of Tomorty” feel[s] like a way of, like Morty, the show asserting that it has its own say in where it gets to go and how long it takes to get there.
