Also I'm a little unhappy with the giant break mid season after being promised that would never happen again. Expand

Not a single redeeming quality about this episode. Didn’t laugh for 24 minutes straight. Meta take was meta sad.

Meta only works if people know wtf you’re making fun of, this was trash. Just like most of the other episodes this season. Also 5 months in the middle of a season? You better have something good to show for it.

Had to literally force myself to sit through this one. It made no sense, had no storyline, and the anthology-style cutscenes were too short to be funny or meaningful.

It makes you think about what the show is, what the show could be and what the show will still potentially become. I won't pretend to fully understand this episode but it makes you really think, was it all real ? Or was it simply the figments of a toy train going around in circles until it couldn't anymore. It also points out that a lot of people are married to their fan theories and will react irrationally when they are threatened. This episode threatens all of those fan theories even my own and i honesly love it. After all who wants to watch a story where you can already guess what the ending will be when there are still supposed to be something like 60 episodes left. People declaring this the end of Rick and Morty because of one episode are being a bit extreme. Rick and Morty is a show that works at being unexpected and its not going to change that now that some fans have a dedicated theory that they are entirely to cleaved to. Expand

Love this episode! Theres so much going on and so many layers I had to watch it again. I love that it felt like the creators were poking fun at media critics and fans alike (parts of earlier episodes in season 4 feel that way too). I’mLove this episode! This season's "Interdimensional Cable episode" takes the premise of improvised stories and plays with it beyond the limits. The worst episode in the show, it has no storyline or meaning, and while there were other atrocious episodes in season 4, they at least try to do something, this one tries to mean nothing, it is not funny, it does not try to make you think, itThe worst episode in the show, it has no storyline or meaning, and while there were other atrocious episodes in season 4, they at least try to do something, this one tries to mean nothing, it is not funny, it does not try to make you think, it tries to be meta, because it is from a show that is known for being smart, it is dark because the rest of the show is. I really thought about giving it a 3 or a 4, but then i realized that there are no reedeming qualities, I had to literally force myself to see it until the end, thing that, I'll never do again Expand
