    Dazu muss es natürlich LGBTQ gerecht sein und politisch korrekt. Ich finde es nur noch zum kotzen .

It truly is a disappointment that nobody appears capable to take such a fascinating and widely enjoyed IP and turn it into a quality tv show and this egregious mess is in a worse state than any before it. With great hesitation I will plumb the shallow depths of this show to encourage anyone with even a morsel of integrity to avoid it. The zombies of this show are inconvenience to the producers who take every opportunity to banish them into the background - they are almost an irrelevance. The plot centres around Jade, a charmless lead acted with the skill of an novice am dram who faces banal problems to which she always finds an improbable, camp vintage James Bond esque escape from. It is a formulaic show, boring and impossible to enjoy for anyone who has watched 5 minutes of an apocalypse show or film before. Overall, this show is a disgrace to its name - so bad in fact I felt an overwhelming need to watch the Resident Evil films to cleanse my pallet. I never thought I’d say that.

    Gendering in a end time Zombie apocalypse? That sounds really unrealistic.

    All in all, one of the worst series I have seen in a franchise.

    And this is no Resident Evil, I think the creator of the series have never seen a RE game.

Confesso que o primeiro EP me chamou atenção, algo diferente dentro da franquia e que claramente queria um público adolescente. Relevei os problemas iniciais pra dar uma chance nos outros episódios, mas a direção das cenas e a montagemessa série de Resident Evil na @netflixbrasil é um caso curioso. A Netflix já fez coisa pior, mas não tem como dizer que essa série aqui é boa. Confesso que o primeiro EP me chamou atenção, algo diferente dentro da franquia e que claramente queria um público adolescente. Relevei os problemas iniciais pra dar uma chance nos outros episódios, mas a direção das cenas e a montagem (especialmente o vai e vem das linhas do tempo) são um negócio bem difícil de engolir, pra dizer o mínimo. E a trama não faz sentido suficiente pra vc se envolver. Eu curti o elenco, acho que tem ideias interessantes ali, mas não há uma execução aceitável em quase nada da história que quer ser contada. E aí eu me pergunto: a gente tá assistindo tanta coisa mediana há tanto tempo que acaba engolindo qualquer coisa? Por que eu vi essa série até o fim? Eu posso dizer por mim que, desde que parei de maratonar loucamente algumas séries, consigo digerir melhor defeitos e virtudes de cada uma delas - e pela Netflix ter neste modelo quase uma exigência do modelo de negócio, acho que muitas vezes os defeitos de alguns produtos ficam menos evidentes. E talvez por isso que, raramente, vemos muitos filmes acima da média no serviço. Enfim, um grande devaneio pra dizer que essa serie não é boa, o que não é novidade pro mundo live-action de RE, e que você não precisa perder seu tempo com isso. Vai ver outra coisa.… Expand

    Couldn't handle it anymore. This show in general is poorly written, zombis have probably more personnality than the scenarists. This is full of stereotypes we saw thousands times. Political agenda is pushed, as usual with netflix, Wesker is now black. This could be acceptable if this wasn't on every single show. Zombis are told to be alive    TLDR: we should unsubscribe on Netflix.

    Look there is nothing really bad about the show, but there is a worse fate than being bad, and that is being utterly and completely forgetable. If you are going to carry the weight of the Resident Evil name, you have to do somethiing better than a run of the mill zombie virus movie. Even if this series didn't carry the Resident Evil name it    TL:DR; I am going to cancel my Netflix.

Netflix has done much better zombie movies, and much better virus movies. This was the last thing keeping my sub up, I might renew it when the next season of Castlevania or The Witcher come out, but not for more Resident Evil. I can't get the 3 hours of my life back from the 1st 3 episodes, and if you can't grab attention in the first 3 episodes, then you failed at making a compelling story. Respect your time more than Netflix respected the source material, please, you are worth it.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. there's nothing Resident Evil in this series, putting references and characters in the background doesn't make any of this interesting, we were already full of rage for the terrifying and ridiculous P Anderson movies, now comes with that, it was just to have made the first game with the Chris Redfild as protagonists and that's it, then in the other season I did Resident Evil 2 with clare and 3 with Jill, RE cod veronica with Chris and clare.     I’ve been a lifelong RE fan. Usually I can appreciate each form of RE content, video games, novels, graphic novels, and films and tv shows. But this is the first RE show I would 100% not recommend. Horrible directing, writing, casting and acting

    Oh yes anyway !!! Don't be ashamed to produce **** like this. It took us literally 10 mins of the 1st episode to realize that the production is completely ****ty and then nothing goes. We held 2 episodes, before the strawberry production, the scenario and the ridiculous scenes as well as the placement of hyper awkward wokism was all the better of our patience.

    Wesker is not black. The casting here is transparently following the current socio-political agenda. And let's face it, this only works one way, doesn't it? daptations should be as faithful as possible, not change character's race or gender just to tick boxes, which this definitely is. Lance Reddick is a good actor, but he should never have been cast in this role. And even he can't saveWesker is not black.     É indescritível como a indústria cinematográfica não consegue trabalhar com um universo de conteúdos que poderiam ser abordados em filmes ou series de RE.

Es la peor mierda de serie y dejemos de lado los cambios raciales, los nuevos personajes (en su mayoría mujeres), que la serie no tiene ni 10 % de concepto en el que se basa osea resident evil, lo peor y digo lo peor es la trama creamos que es una obra nueva es decir algo nuevo y partiendo de eso uno dice desde el capítulo 1 ¡Que clase de mierda es esto! Si llegas al final de la serie que muy pocos conozco la hayan terminado, te das cuenta que todo es un sin sentido y me explico,
    -la prota del pasado es una morra caga leches son razon, mal criada, agresiva, consentida, etc. Todo esto sin razón solo porque la trama lo requiere y ya, la magia del libreto. Con esto caga la odias y dices enserio a quien le agrada o que estereotipo quiere dejar Netflix que hay que ser un adolescente de mierda sin sentido y eso está bien y que debemos dejar como adultos que eso pase y está bien.
    - La prota del futuro es igual o peor de caga leches, siempre muy pro sin explicación, traumada por un hecho con su hermana en su pasado que es una mera tontería (tomando en cuenta todo lo que pasó y como le perdona otras cosas o la entiende), solo le importa ella y su objetivo dejando de lado que sea una heroína y tomando decisiones morales a conveniencia.
    -Ambas Protas pasado y futuro se pasan cagando a todos, todos mueren por ellas, se salvan de todo de la nada y sin sentido, todo les sale como quieren casi siempre, en cuestión del guión todo se adapta aunque no tenga lógica a ellas.
    -La trama de toda la serie es tan estúpida, ya sin tocar a los otros personajes y sus tramas (idiotas en su mayoría) y una construcción mediocre que no crea afinidad con ninguno o de momentos más con personajes secundarios que con Protas y antagonistas. Volviendo a la trama es un sin sentido tras sin sentido que uno dice carajo extraño rápido y furioso ya que tiene más lógica cuando un coche llega al espacio que está mierda.
    -Los efectos son buenos en todo menos en los zombies que de hecho están sumamente mediocres.
    -Al final si amas el concepto original osea el videojuego no veas esto mejor ve la película de regreso a reacción city o las películas antiguas (ya estoy blasfemando pero esto da más asco que esas adaptaciones hasta hace extrañarás) o sigue jugando los juegos.

    Si eres nuevo y quieres ver una serie sin ningún contexto de igual forma no gastes tu tiempo, es una mierda a nivel de lo más mierda que he visto o si solo te importa acción sin sentido pues hay más acción en otras series.

    -Por último no estoy en contra de la inclusión pero enserio creo está serie es la obra maestra de la inclusión sin sentido de Netflix tanto que no es nada orgánica. Forzada, forzada, forzada y forzada.    … Expand

    the series is total **** and a waste of time. it has nothing to do with resident evil at all, except the name wesker. the plot and the decisions of the characters is totally illogical and makes no sense. you'd better look at something else. I don't understand how Capcom could wave such a garbage through.

    I didn't even finish watching the first chapter, it's a tremendous disgust what they did to force inclusion, completely unjustified lack of respect for a franchise like RE.

    Given the six choppy hours that preceded “Resident Evil’s” rousing two-part ending, it’s hard to trust future seasons will stick with the bananas spirit Season 1 stumbled upon.

    Packed with humor, heart, and some of the coolest action scenes of the year, it’s a show that will leaving you alternatively screaming at and cheering for your television. Resident Evil is simply a great time.
