Season 1 Review: The show keeps things moving, so it never gets too bogged down in teen angst or ponderous speechifying. But by the penultimate episode, viewers will be wishing Ragnarok would hurry up and resolve its central plot, or at least give a better reason to come back for more. Even at a mere six episodes (five of which were available for review), it feels like a two-hour YA movie expanded past its breaking point. Read full review

At first, this seems to be a futile piece of media produced and written by Greta Thunberg exclusively made to piss you off but in reality, it is a good way to bring Norse mythology to modern days in a way that it doesn't seem forced in any way because while you can recognize who Magne reallyAt first, this seems to be a futile piece of media produced and written by Greta Thunberg exclusively made to piss you off but in reality, it is a good way to bring Norse mythology to modern days in a way that it doesn't seem forced in any way because while you can recognize who Magne really is by just looking at him, other characters give a mystery if you're not familiar with Norse mythology.
I think the only problem with this show is the number of episodes. clearly the writers wanted 10 episodes because of how slow-paced it is until episode 4 and rushed episodes 5 and 6 are, still, you never get confused or uninterested. This is a solid story to be told and needs more seasons.… Expand

After i saw the trailer i had to force myself to watch it. Expecting some standard Teenage Drama. While it is to a degree it does so with such a refreshing non Hollywood touch and good character development. Marvel is just for kid. i want real hero movie. Ragnarok is the best as hero drama. From Norwegion is not a wall to join it. Politics thing is also interesting factor to watch. Hey netflix please renewed the season2

Decent enough way to spend an evening (or two) but not groundbreaking. I found the English dubbing off-putting, much better in original language using subtitles.
