    Even though you come away with no new insight into the case, the fine performances by Lowe,Revolution's Elizabeth Mitchell (as another prosecutor), and The Office's Oscar Nuñez (as Anthony's lawyer) make this TV movie far more compelling than you'd expect.

    The telepic has an old-fashioned quality, from building the movie around one of the ostensible good guys (Anthony, played by Virginia Welch, is featured only sparingly) to the prosecution assembling its case to the simple yet effective urgency of Richard Marvin's score.

    I was so happy about this movie that I had to resist the urge to give it a 10. There was one thing that you should have left out of it andI was so happy about this movie that I had to resist the urge to give it a 10. There was one thing that you should have left out of it and those were the video feeds of the murderer of her daughter at the end. That was one of the main objections, that quite a few people whom I know had, in even the making of this movie, and that she is such a narcissist that she loves even the negative attention. Had she been left her as the fixture of non importance that was protrayed in the rest of the movie, that would have been more pleasing to me. The most important line was the statement, "The jury just didn't want her to be punished for anything." That is the reason that Jeff Ashton and the prosecution team lost this case and failed to obtain that, "GUILTY." verdict that 98 percent of public opinion have given her. A movie is supposed to cause some type of reaction in the viewer. I will forever be happy that it was made if for no other reason than to have it portrayed for all the world to see that she is a GUILTY woman, and, as was stated by Jeff Ashton, "She is the most hated woman in America" (and other nations as well.) As to what the one reviewer wrote that there was nothing new, what did they expect? The information that the search on the computer for, "foolproof suffocation," which was withheld by the Orange County Sheriff's office (I'm mighty suspicious about that), was not released when the movie was made. In watching it, my emotions ranged from hatred of what a senseless jury let her get away with, to a barrage of tears at the end and outright weeping. This movie needed to me made, and LIFETIME has done that, and it will be showing in the homes of viewers for many decades to come. KUDOS TO LIFETIME. mejh… Full Review »
