    This is a difficult series not to fall asleep when watching, quite a let down from Power the original series. The casting missed the mark, whatever the adult Kanan had is just missing from the 15 year old version, more than years alone. His mother, well MILF comes to mind.     Power Book III: Raising Kanan is a prequel that not only captures a particular place at a particular time but also builds a world that can quickly help the show stand alone from its parent series.
