Amazing in every sense of the word. I loved season 1 but season 2 is a fast improvement in every way. The acting is amazing, the costumes, story. One of the best shows on TV.

I found this TV series online and i was a fan of Sci-Fi, the time travel narrative made me what to watch it. I have to say this show is excellent. People who like history will like this show. People like romance, they should like it? Even fans of horror should? ( the sadistic British soldier will have to you thinking thank god i am not Jamie right now.

The cast of characters is perfect.

Once you accept the premise, the series looks to me quite good. I do not know much about Scotland in the XVIII century, but enough as to think the history, clothing, and general ambience may be OK. And the tale is great and the acting quite good. I like this series very much.

Yes, I agree. It deserves a 10. This is the best show on T.V. What makes it such an obsession?....Superb acting by all, fantastic directing, wonderful storytelling of Gabaldon's addictive series, awesome scenery. I simply cannot get enough of this show. Love it, love it, love it! I can't wait until next Saturday!

'Outlander' continues its unique perspective on love -- a bloodier and more eventful endurance of history.

Season 2 shines with a more developed story, its focus lies often on the real evil, and dreadfulness of war. Deception, distrust, lies and other similar human sides are a big part of it, and it's a fight against history, literally. Characters of this season come to a close, and it

Season 2 shines with a more developed story, its focus lies often on the real evil, and dreadfulness of war. Deception, distrust, lies and other similar human sides are a big part of it, and it's a fight against history, literally. Characters of this season come to a close, and it can feel like a season finale of two seasons -- because it's a continuation with a lot more eventful events than S01. Romance, adventure, drama -- even science fiction is a part of this realistic show. We see not only the past Scotland; but also England & France as well -- just the royalty and different perspectives to these "well known" individuals is a wow! Season 2 of 'Outlander' shines with less talk and more plot -- and still manages to bring new perceptions to our main characters. History, twists, natural chemistry, family lines & love is the biggest plus -- meanwhile some fragments of predictability, meh plot & slow moments is a minus.

This is a very addicting show. I love the plotline, the acting, the costumes and ambiance. Season 1 was probably a bit faster paced in the beginning compared to S2, the parts in France involve little more drama than action, but the plot-lines are interesting and the characters along with their intrigue pull you in. Outlander along with the Leftovers, Game of Thrones, Outlander along with Leftovers, Penny Dreadful, Fargo and House of Cards is one of the best shows on TV. Everything about it shows the amount of effort behind it. Brilliant television for those with a brain.

If anything the critics are being too stingy. This show is almost a perfect 10, in the day and Golden age of TV this show still manages to stand out as something fundamentally different and brilliant ! Appointment TV.

I read quite a few negative comments which I don't get at all. I never expected the series to be rainbow and sunshine 24/7. Thr political aspect in season 2 really intrigued me and it didn't disappoint at all. The cast, the acting, the plot... everything perfect as always. Especially "Faith" was probably the best scene I ever saw on any tv show. Caitriona Balfe deserves that Golden Globe!

I must say that season 2 was "slower" than season one but it was expected. And I don't mean this in a bad way. It was really different than season one but still I enjoyed it very much!

Amazing acting from the two leads. Their chemistry and romance is the best ever seen on TV in my opinion. The season finale broke me.

Outlander’s appeal remains focused on the interplay between Claire and Jamie, a union of two very different people joined in mutual attraction, lust, and a meeting of the minds. No matter what country they’re in, they’re the duo that’s the twosome with the mostest.

here are odd time jumps and plot movements here and there that really prove how much that voiceover narration from Claire is really needed. Not all of these are good things. ... They are not deal-breakers, exactly, but it will be interesting to see if season two can match (or exceed) the lofty achievements of season one. Perhaps the important thing to know is, despite these shifts, Outlander remains as sweeping and addictive as ever, which goes a long way.

It is Balfe, who also received a Globe nomination, whom the series rests on, and she remains a captivating Claire. The actress brings a playfulness and an ethereal presence to the role, which are attributes essential for someone caught between two worlds.compelling drama
