    Anything is possible. And that’s what makes this wild ride of a show so endlessly enjoyable, even in its third installment.

    Sometimes you just want a silly but exciting, addicting, and sometimes unhinged drama that you can simply let wash over you, and that is exactly what Outer Banks delivers.

    Season Three sacrifices nearly all of the show’s original charm to keep its already-unbelievable treasure hunt theme going just a little while longer. Season Three of Outer Banks relies heavily on narration and flashbacks to keep its momentum going, a party trick that does little to hide its thin plot.

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Look like OBX writers decided to sacrifice sense and good storyline for thrill. Lots of the scene are frustrating and does not make any sense, and it gets annoying. They exhaustingly tried to keep a tense vibe and thrilling action all along, but sacrifice the storyline in the process. Some example of frustrating scene that doe snot make sense:
    ,why would mr.singh try to kill the member of the gang in episode 1. He believed they might have the information he is looking for and than he just decided to try to kill them all in a shooting in the middle of the town. Even if he believed they dont have the information why would go to the trouble of going into a huge gunfight against 5 kids in the middle of the street.

    Short after the shooting, make sense that they were able to spot the protagonist on the jetty. But, For some reason, they had ignored john s father ringing that church bell for like half a day. when the gang escape, Singhs men just randomly appears and start chasing john and his father like the dinosaur of jurassic park 3, just for the sake of keeping the thrill on, which somehow ruins the emotion of John being reunited with his father.

    Or when they try to rob the train, JJ decide to bait the police and have the cop running after him letting the rest of the gang escape with the cross. The gang stupidly decide to turn around to go save JJ, which undo the entire things that JJ was trying to accomplish. Those are only few example, but season 3 is full of it.

    Replacing Ward as the main antagonist in favor of carlos Singh and his army of men was also a mistake that change the entire vibe of the serie. Ward was a character we loved to hate, Singh is just an unlikable villain and just bring the surrealist of the entire show to another level. But it just seems where the writers wanted to go with the entire season. The new el dorado quest make sounds like the event of the first two season and the 400millions in gold was worthless. A lot of fan did not like John B father introduction in the show, i myself enjoy the character but I believe he was not use the best way, just feels now that he have his own storyline beside the one of the gang viewers became attached to like the show now have two separate storyline to follow.

    The emotional life of those kids is getting difficult to follow, as the who they are in love with not only change on a season to season, but some time episode to episode.

    All that said, i found the season entertaining, but very frustrating. The show has been renewed for a 4th season, but i kind of hope to use it to wrap this up as i believed they when irreversibly too far with the scope of the storyline. They seems to have abandon most of what made me like the show in the first season.    … Full Review »

    Still entertaining but getting repetitive. If you're willing to suspend disbelief and ignore the cheesy acting/dumb decisions, you will likelyStill entertaining but getting repetitive.
