    The second season so far (s02e05) is not interesting. The show itself is boring and it seems that the producers have no idea how they want the plot to proceed. It has a few good moments but so far, I am not impressed or intrigued at all.

    I feel like I'm missing something with Outcast, I find the characters dull and uninspiring, the plot painfully slow and it's as if every time a character makes a decision it's the worst one at the worst time. The Reverend just constantly is a perfect example of this in everything he does just is obviously the worst possible choice. As for each and every kid it's like the writers just don't even try with them they literally wonder off at every opportunity, it's just so sloppy and contrived, they could do so much better. The whole premise for the show and the cast has the potential for excellence but falls short. I honestly find myself rooting for the demons at least the do things not just wonder around angsty saying I need to protect my family.… Expand

    This show is the best show you can watch on FOX. Interestingly, it feature along side the worst, "The Exorcist" (audience at Rotten T. 92% ). They are not even in the same (sub)genre, former is "many worlds/dimensions" fantasy-horror not so distant from similar SciFi, and later is, well, ..."religious/demonic possession" horror. Shame.
