Great show. Of course it is easily comparable to BBC's Planet Earth, but it is quite fantastic in its own right

The show is really good and one can clearly compare it to planet earth, which is really best in its category. The beauty and complexity of nature is astounding. The show explains relations between some species very well.

David Attenborough has been the greatest wildlife presenter of my lifetime and I’m no spring chicken having grandchildren of my own now. Unfortunately, this was the least enjoyable of his productions. Unfortunately, this was the least enjoyable of his productions. The photography, editing, locations even the choice of animals aren't bad per se, just not quite as good as the BBC. What was off-putting was the practically unremitting gloom. Yes, the habitats of the world's wildlife are being devastated at an awful rate and we should stop and reverse it immediately. But this mood of hopeless despair won’t win new young fans. People will just shrug and say it can’t be stopped and move on to another cause to the detriment of the world's wildlife. Negatively only appeals to negative people. Life needs more joy.… Expand
