One piece should never make it to live adaption , the style is just unique, the live action did everything wrong , acting is cringe at best , casting was really bad except for zoro, characters don’t have the same feeling to it (One piece should never make it to live adaption , the style is just unique, the live action did everything wrong , acting is cringe at best , casting was really bad except for zoro, characters don’t have the same feeling to it ( personalities) , and the props are so bad! The swords looks nothing like a real thing! Stay away from this crap, oda probably sold his soul for bucks Expand

If you want to watch one piece, dont waste your time to this. Just watch original anime. Actualy acting and voice acting (other languages) very good but, cgi's and the story making this awful to watch

It's not bad but lack of diversity really kills it. We need more representation and equality in movies like this!

Not with Dragon Ball, not with Cowboy BeBop, not with Death Note and certainly not with One Piece. Why did they make this? Who is out there asking for live action One Piece? Once again another cop out for people who want to relate to their anime watching friends without having to dip their feet into the often cringe associated water of anime fandom. Expand

Plotlines have been severely truncated and butchered to the point of lacking most of the soul of the original series. Very 'quippy' Marvel-esque humor that audiences were already tired with 4-5 years ago. Overall it would seem that Tomorrow Studios learned absolutely nothing from Cowboy Bebop because this is almost as bad as that show was. Expand

Der Style und die Qualität der Animation erinnert mehr an ein Fan Projekt, zudem kann man die Charaktere echt nicht ernst nehmen, Garp wirkt wie ein Charakter aus einem Schul Theaterstück

They have ruined one of the best and longest animes. Luffy is a shabby Cantinflas who differs a lot from the personality of the anime (when he comes out as a child he is a black boy). Ussop is black when he should be white, he doesn't look anything like the character (nor did they put his long nose). Sanji is nothing like each other and is the character they have done the worst. Zoro is faithful but in the anime he is more silly and is immediately disoriented in the series no. Nami have put a girl flatter than a board and without charisma. There are no blacks in the marines and here there is. They try to follow the anime but they invent things that don't make sense. The scenarios are the best of the series. Expand
