I hope it returns as soon as possible so that I can continue exploring this weird, wonderful world I've fallen in love with. That love was only solidified by One Piece season 2, which I cannot recommend enough.
-
It remains the best live-action adaptation on television, and the competition isn't even remotely close.

With grand production design, exquisite costuming, and stunning VFX work, and the most adorable reindeer doctor, this is a grand adventure worth embarking on. Some choices may be controversial for manga purists, but it makes this show a unique and fresh viewing experience no matter what your familiarity with the source material may be.
-
This adaptation continues to demonstrate why so many are willing to follow its central rubber-limbed weirdo across the seven seas and beyond. He believes in something, and that makes it easy for us to do the same.
-
One Piece’s storytelling compass remains pointed in the right direction.
-
One Piece continues to embrace theatricality and artifice on a grand scale, and it’s even more joyously assured than ever.
-
“One Piece” remains an imperfect, if entertaining, treat; for those lacking the will or the time to dive into thirty-plus years of manga or anime (the show’s episode count is already in the four figures), it does well in a pinch.
-
Where Season 1 was mostly table setting, Season 2 is the true beginning of this adventure, embracing the weirdness and warmth of the source material for better and worse.
