The great aspects of it were Robert Carlyle's perfect performance (which I say every time) as well as how well the dialogue of Rumple and his whole character was written. Another highlight is Alan Dale's incredible performance as King George. He is menacing, threatening, despicable and at times you hate him but sometimes he feels like a genuinely nice guy and when his son James dies his performance makes you really feel for the guy. I was also really caught off guard by the twist of James dying and it turning out that the James we know is actually a shepard by the name of David. The farm set was great and I loved the effects for the dragon as well as the charming performance of Gabrielle Rose's Ruth. And the moment when David sees that windmill and Robert Carlyle gives that amazing performance genuinely gave me goosebumps. As for the negatives, I wasn't really too interested in the whole romance between Mary Margaret and David and it seemed to drag out the story. Expand
