Though he shined a lot in episodes 1 and 2, there he played a crazy maniac whereas here he portrays a more normal and calm Rumple which gives him an advantage for a diverse range of method acting. I also absolutely love the Cinderella storyline and Rumple's involvement in it, though I am not a big fan of how the actress who they chose to play Cinderella looks. The sets were amazing in this episode and the highlights were the costumes and definitely the visual style that the director goes for. I loved the screenplay and the dialogue in the script as I did the entire conflict of the episode and how it ends openly with a hint of what is to come with Emma's deal with Gold. I was however slapping my face when Cinderella's husband couldn't figure out what Ella was trying to tell him straight away. I mean when she said "but he tricked me. It's not the gold he wanted but rather something else." I was surprised that he said "what did he ask for?" instead of realizing immediately that the child was the topic of the conversation. But other than that, I have no complaints. Expand
