Based on the same source events as the Oscar-winning film "The French Connection," "NY-70" documents the real-life experiences of Big Apple detectives Sonny Grosso and Eddie Egan. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the drama had received a cast contingent pilot order, which has now been lifted.

Cannavale will play the character based on Grosso. Ravich, who wrote the pilot, is executive producing along with Grosso, Larry Jacobson and Far Shariat.… Expand
