Having co-starred in the most ambiguously concluded TV show in history (HBO’s “The Sopranos”), Falco certainly deserves the cleanest ending Jackie can get, and the first eight or nine episodes of this season suggest a satisfying and authentic outcome. Read full review

Nurse Jackie started well and was very enjoyable but It went a few seasons too long. Jackie's addiction becoming public knowledge took the rug from under the story to a large extent and her on/off struggle with the pills while maybe realistic was humorless in the last season. The best bit about Nurse Jackie was the humor and without that the show isn't great. Jackie herself as a character was not very likable but seemed always to have no shortage of friends and lovers which I always found a bit odd. Pity it didn't finish on a stronger note.… Expand
