    Season 8 started with the conclusion to Season 7's ending cliffhanger about Gibbs's past and the death of his first wife, and also featured a two-part episode (Enemies Foreign, Enemies Domestic), that finally delved into the relationship between Leon Vance and Eli David, and revealed even more secrets than anyone could expect.     This season is a little more interesting, but not the best out there. This show is not top notch TV like on cable, but it's good for network TV. That's all it has to be
