Summary: Naruto is the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a shinobi who wants to obtain the title of Hokage. An incident occurred twelve years ago, however, when a nine-tailed demon fox attacked the village; many shinobi fell, until the 4th Hokage sealed the demon within a baby: Naruto. This is a review of the third season of the original run of Naruto from episodes 53-78, English dubbed. The show greatly improves here, as the invasion plan set in motion in the middle of season two finally occurs. The show greatly improves here, as the invasion plan set in motion in the middle of season two finally occurs. In this season, Naruto really proves himself as a character and is barely an irritation anymore. Also, we see more of lesser characters, like Shikimaru, Neji, Gaara, and a different look at the third Hokage. Now, reading this without any prior knowledge of the series, you will probably be lost. But, if you have invested this far into the series, than you'll probably be sticking around until the conclusion. This season really pulls out some of the stops and matures. Sure, there are still cliches and blatant characterization, but we begin to see less of it here. The show begins to own up to itself and it only improves afterwards.… Expand
