While primarily known for being shown on MST3K with derision, this film has a large amount of great documentary footage of actual F104 Starfighters in flight and on the ground -- one of the most awesome planes ever developed by the USA.While primarily known for being shown on MST3K with derision, this film has a large amount of great documentary footage of actual F104 Starfighters in flight and on the ground -- one of the most awesome planes ever developed by the USA. Previously highlighted in "the Right Stuff" as the plane flown by Yeager at the end of the film. If you come for the plane footage, you won't be disappointed, it's fascinating historical cinema. If you're looking for a riveting drama with good acting and characterizations... well, maybe look elsewhere.… Expand
