    Painful. ... The concept – "What if the Muppets were YouTubers?" – is half-baked and lowbrow, assuming that the only way today's kids could possibly care about puppets is if they're influencers.

    The muppets are back doing a variety show, this time influenced by the YouTube stardom and the Covid culture. It’s not perfect- sometimes the production value feels a little off and the humor sometimes feels a little corny and directed at kids. Then again, what do you expect from Fozzy the Bear.

    However, despite some rough edges, the series, is getting right what makes the muppets so endearing- goofiness and a feeling of optimism. My kids LOVE the show, and have rewatched episodes multiple times.
