Finally the Muppets tackle Halloween! And they do it well in cahoots with Disney to promote The Haunted Mansion attraction, somehow never making it feel like they are trying to sell anything more than old Muppet humor and entertainment.Finally the Muppets tackle Halloween! Darren Criss has a great cameo appearance and the musical moments and new songs are terrific (the music is exactly what other recent Muppet projects have been missing...The Muppets are just not so wonderful without song).
It has the potential of being a staple in my annual Halloween viewing in years to come.

The film doesn’t make full use of the Muppets or even the haunted mansion. The actors who show up are at least in good form though. Especially Taraji P.
