Hosted by Daryn Jones with co-hosts Jessi Cruickshank, Nicole Holness, Daniel Levy, Diane Salema and Aliya-Jasmine Sovani, the original MTV series lets Canadians from across the country and around the globe to speak their minds in person, on the phone, by e-mail and live online via web cams and instant messaging.

After a few years on air the show decided to change its format. With the popularity of "the hills aftershow" growing more and more including within the US they gave hosts Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank a show of their own to do daily called "the aftershow" which airs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday before MTV Live. Where they discuss pop culture. Which meant they would no longer be hosting MTV Live with Daryn Jones. Aliya-Jasmine and Johnny Hockin then also moved on to do a show which airs after MTV Live, MTV News. Former host Gilson Lubin moved on to pursue his comedic career. Due to all these changes MTV Live is now hosted by Daryn Jones and Nicole Holness. Diane Salema and Paul "the intern" help with the show segments. … Expand
