    Every week I watch this show and think to myself, "I really hope they don't cancel this." The chemistry Beth and Mick have is terrific, much better than most shows, and I watch a lot of freaking television! Don't cancel...and more info on the music please!

    i am a big fan of angel and buffy and even blood ties. But Moonlight is a different approach, it kind of makes it seem possible for vampires to be among us. The acting is great, mich and beth have GREAT chemistry. The writing is GREAT, it keeps you interested and yet as time goes on it does answer alot of questions. I was hooked from the first minute.

    Absolutely Love Moonlight!! This is one of the few new shows I actually enjoy watching every week. Just hoping CBS keeps it going.

    I love this show!!! Obviously some of the critcs have no clue what people want to watch. These are the same freaks who ooooh and ahhh over shit reality shows. Some of the male "critcs" who say the leads have no chemistry or don't like Alex O'Loughlin's looks are totally jealous. They only WISH they were as hot as him!! Same with Sophia! She is beautiful and they BURN UP THE I love this show!!! Obviously some of the critcs have no clue what people want to watch. These are the same freaks who ooooh and ahhh over shit reality shows.     Thank goodness we don't take much note of critics as Titanic was given thumbs down and now is a classic. I am just a regular person who really enjoys Moonlight. I don't know all the intricate details that you are all fussed on... it just grabs me at my core and I am off for a fun ride every friday night at 9pm on CBS!

    This show is lots of fun and Alex O'Loughlin is a very charismatic lead. The writing gets better with each episode and I enjoy watching and re-watching it. There are so many subtle line readings and facial expressions, that you pretty much HAVE to watch the show over and over again.

    I simply love this show. I love the characters, and the actors that play the parts, and I love the music. Every time I fine out what music is played I go to Itunes to buy it. Need more information on the music. That is my only complaint.

    I've been watching Vamp shows for over two decades...this one won't make it. It's already given away most of it's secrets, and those that remain are pretty guessable. They should have made him older, and given a REAL reason for him to be trying to be 'good'...then they should have kept his 'secret' at least to the end of the first season!

    This is one of the better series out there..I really like it, I think it has a good story line, it's a different twist on vampires and a little love and romance.

    This show is so awesome! My sister and I are totally addicted. We're also addicted to Supernatural, but would take Mick any day over Sam or Dean! And that's saying something!

    Finally, CBS. A great Friday night lineup so I no longer have to surf. Moonlight has enough sexy undertones to make me anticipate watching next week. It also isn't all dark....the lightness to it that makes me laugh helps me forget that vamps drinking blood is rather disgusting.

    I have no idea what show these critics are watching, because it certainly isn't "Moonlight." I can't wait for Friday to come. This show is so full of sensuality and playfulness, I just love it. Mick St. John is my kind of vampire and I would willingly give up my blood to him and every friday for the rest of my life. BITE ME CRITICS>>>>>

    Don't know why so many have such a dim view - my family LOVES it!!!!! A great reason to stay home after a long week. This is my favorite show. The 11/02 episode was pretty steamy, but I loved that Mick was acting as protector and not taking advantage of the situation. Keep it up and keep it on!

    I knew this show was going to be a hit the minute it was advertised. The charactors are great and I can understand why Beth has this crush on Mick. I haven't had a crush on a vampire since Barnabus Collins. Anybody remember Dark Shadows? I love this show and can't wait for the next episode!!!

    I am so enthralled with this show. It has captured my interest due to the beauty of the actors and their obvious attraction/feelings that they try to deny exist. Their chemistry is palpable! I look forward to every episode. I record it and watch it multiple times to catch little nuances that I missed the first time around. Alex O'Loughlin (Mick) is devastatingly handsome.     I think whoever compared it to Angel needs to do a little more research. I loved Angel but of course only because of the way he looked, lest be honest, it didn't have much substance. This show does. It appeals on a much more mature level and it has good story lines.

    This show is my favorite show in years. The writing is wonderful; lots of subtle wit. The actors are savory and I just get giddy after some scenes because they have been so well done. I used to never watch TV on Fridays, and now it is the night I most look forward to!

Mick St. John shines as an untrusting but gentle vampire PI, and Beth could not be better as an internet reporter who is smitten with him. Josef adds the guidance to the fairly young (85 year old) Mick...their friendship is a typical relationship.     I have to admit the show started out slow.....but then came Fever and Arrested Development. Wow, I am now truly hooked and actually find myself watching bits of te episodes over just waiting for the next episode. I haven't done this since WB's Roswell's first season. I love paranormal shows and have watched quite a few, Roswell, Buffy, Angel, Charmed...just to name a few. To give some idea of your viewers...I am in my mid 30s, 2 kids and have already had a big 8+ year engineering career. If you can grab my interest when I have so few moments to sit and watch a show, then CBS you have got a winner here.… Expand

    If I want reality I will watch the news. I love this show because it takes you away. It's not some sorry reality show with has been celebrities.     The actors are hot, especially Mick's character. I like how this show deals with what is frequently a scary topic without being a horror show. The stories are fun and the chemistry between the leads is awesome. I've noticed that the critics don't love it. It's a shame to be so out of touch with what the viewers obviously can't get enough of.

Rare for that to happen in these days. Excellent cast. Excellent acting. The ONLY show I now watch live. I also buy it as I download the Amazon Unbox versions to my Tivo. Now that makes a The show and it's writing just keeps getting better each week. Who cares what the critics say? It's the fans who watch who matter.     I love this show. Love the film Noir style, the costumes the set the makeup and most of all the actors and story. The romance is sizzling and classic at the same time. Please give this show another chance.

    This is now my favorite show. The virtuous vampire is a great premise. I like the blend of the film-noir PI and modern issues & technology. Beth is adorable, spunky, and charming. She makes an excellent sidekick for any action hero. The story is well paced but I hope the writing gets tighter so that events unfold more logically.

    I am (very) old enough to remember the Dark Shadows TV series many years ago. It became a classic. If given a chance, this show will be a success, especially following Ghost Whisper. But, the success of the show will depend on the shows writers. Ann Rice and Stephanie Meyers have written excellent books about the Vampire/Human relationships. Plus, movies like Underworld, and Underworld I am (very) old enough to remember the Dark Shadows TV series many years ago. It became a classic. If given a chance, this show will be a success, especially following Ghost Whisper. But, the success of the show will depend on the shows writers. The world seems very regular except for the fact that there are vampires among us. It just needs a darker setting and more vampire juicy action. When CSI ( the original series) started it had the same feeling as Moonlight, but the special effects and the stories made it different. In addition, after the first seasons you could tell that they change the setting to one with a darker and greenish color that made it more appealing and better defined in terms of style. Moonlight, in comparison, looks very common as it is, but there is that huge possibility in the story that keeps me coming back. It needs a better defined style and darker setting.     So far I'm not sure. I like it enough to keep watching, but the 'good' seems sporadic. I hope they smooth out the rough edges and get a bit edgier with the plots, otherwise I don't see Mick St. John lasting past season one despite his immortality.

In reality, most vampire series have short lifetimes, unlike their characters, but I'm very pleased to have Moonlight on CBS and Blood ties on Lifetime this fall. My only problem with the mythos of the Moonlight series is I have to agree with a previous poster. I'm glad there are vampires on tv this season. Vampire fiction is a timeless genre and it's my very favorite. In reality, most vampire series have short lifetimes, unlike their characters, but I'm very pleased to have Moonlight on CBS and Blood ties on Lifetime this fall. My only problem with the mythos of the Moonlight series is "What's the deal with vampires sleeping in freezers?"… Expand

    I am already so obsessed with this show Moonlight I can't stand it. I live now waiting from an episode to an episode. The best freaking show ever. I go through at least 7 different emotions when I am watching. I am just crazy about this show. and I personally don't care about what the critics say. the general public has spoken.     The critics are idiots - they just don't get it. This show has it all: engaging stories, hot actors (of both sexes), humor, sex appeal, cool sets, mood music. It's perfect.

    Love this show!! A Friday night guilty pleasure! Great cast. Great premise. Not disappointed in the early reveal. The CSI genre is worn out - over done. Took a look at its much ballyhooed competitor and was very disappointed. To each his own. Thank goodness I taped Moonlight which has yet to disappoint me. CBS, give it a chance!

    The show is an unexpected surprise. My family all love the show and we watch every episode. We even went back watched a couple episdes we missed on innertube. I hope the show makes it as I really enjoy it.

    This is a great show. Maybe not original, but a much needed break from the idiotic "reality" and game shows. This show has the potential to have a great following if given a chance to build a fan base. We all know the people that gave this show a bad review is just looking for something to complain about since they obviously have no taste !!

    I think this show is simply fantastic. I've never been interested in those crime shows... but vampires give it an entirely new twist that I absolutely love. It's very unique, in my opinion. Instead of the usual vampire myths, they added a few different types of ideas to create an awesome show.     I love Moonlight, and I can't wait until the next episode each week. I think Alex is great as Mick, and I love his voice and facial expressions. I love the humor in the show also. I keep watching the episodes over and over again!

    [Mick and Beth's] across-the-decades bond, however, doesn't compensate for how pedestrian the initial story is -- playing like a conventional detective show, with Mick showcasing his otherworldly powers (strong, and very, very fast) only during a passable action sequence in the final act.

    The focus is on the dangerous and forbidden relationship between Mick and Beth and his efforts to keep his past a secret. Whether there's enough material there to knit together a series remains to be seen.
