After watching 2 episodes, I am hooked on this show. Ashley Judd always plays a terrific ass-kicking female, and the storyline is very interesting. I'm curious to see how they'll be able to keep this story interesting for a whole season, though. It almost feels like a movie, instead of a TV show.

This is what i would call a 1-season show. Now don't get me wrong i don't mean it's going to cancelled, what i mean is; The title is Missing and is all about a Mother trying to find her Son, I can't see how you can drag that out for 5 or 6 years and keep it focused on that. At some point their going to have to have her start working for the CIA again or something and solve their cases. This is what i would call a 1-season show. At some point their going to have to have her start working for the CIA again or something and solve their cases. There's nothing other than the mystery of "why" that would keep me watching. The action scenes are low quality, and everything in between isn't any better.
How come in all TV and Film with situations like this, the mother/father/etc is supposedly 'emotionally compromised' and shouldn't take on this task yet they still do and is still much better than everyone else involved? I can see how even though she's been out of the CIA for a good few years she would still be a skilled combatant but given that she's 'emotionally compromised' and everyone else involved has been in active service for the last few years I can't see how she doesn't get severely injured more often.

Missing's clue unraveling is barely believable when it's not simply preposterous.

The premiere boasts intriguing hints of self-awareness but never quite follows through on them, and that's too bad.

Yes, you've seen it before. But, hey, you haven't seen it with Ashley Judd.
