    What season two of this delightfully absurd anthology series proves is that there’s no need for miracles in the Dark Ages when we have each other.

    Miracle Workers: Dark Ages may not have that satisfying story arc that the show’s first season has, but Viswanathan is a great lead and the characters are well-established by the end of the first episode.

    There are many more imaginative and creatively challenging comedies in circulation that offer complete escapes from the here and now. There's also a place for a nimble excursion like this, one that reminds us in the plainest and least embellished terms that yearning for a return to the way things were is at best foolhardy, and at worst risks plunging us into a time of restricted possibility, ignorance, plague and really foul air quality.

    Miracle Workers: Dark Ages isn't trying to say too much this season, at least in the early episodes. But it doesn't appear to want to try to; it's happy poking goofy fun at these dark times in history.

    I'm surprised the rating for this season is lower than the first season since it is better in every way. In this season of the anthologyI'm surprised the rating for this season is lower than the first season since it is better in every way. In this season of the anthology series, We are dropped off in medieval times dealing with town locals under the control of a ruthless king. It made me bust out laughing many times throughout and the cast was freaking fantastic. IDK who gave this a negative review but man, did they miss the mark.… Full Review »

    I definitely liked this better than the last season of this anthology series.

    This story takes place in the medieval times. Yeah, this isn't the first time we've seen this time period mined for comedy. The material here are low-hanging fruit. However, the whole thing is pretty funny. The jokes fly a lot more fast and furious than the last season. There is also more of an energetic feel. Also, I really liked the opening credits.

    The cast from last season return except for Sasha Compère. They again do a great job. Steve Buscemi and Daniel Radcliffe are given a lot more to work with. I really liked the recurring characters here, especially Peter Serafinowicz (Spy/The Tick) as the intimidating, warmongering king.
