This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Their is a lot that happens in this season, Merlin and Arthur fight ancient magical creatures. A bounty hunter tries to kill Prince Arthur. Morgana finds out that she has magical powers. Gwen gets kidnapped by outlaws. Lancelot returns, a troll tries taking over the kingdom. The witchfinder almost exposes Merlin. Morgana finds out that Morgose is her sister. Morgana becomes evil. The dragon attacks Camelot, and Merlin becomes the new dragonlord. This season is an overall improvement and contains some of the most memorable events in the show.… Expand

Merlin is a really entertaining show, However, i would suggest that you don'y buy this on DVD as getting into the story is a waste of time, the ending is so bad you will just be really annoyed.

Another quality season. The exploration of the characters is more pronounced, and I really enjoyed the subtle nods the storylines gave in regards to what to expect in future episodes. Bradley James has improved.
