    Second verse, somehow worse than the first. I'm not going into a wall of text for this one like I did with Pt 1.

    Did you like Part 1? Do you think "strong female" = women with more muscle mass and bigger bone structure than He-Man himself? Seriously, Evil-Lyn looks like He-Man with a Crayola activist hair cut. Do you like poor writing and characters that operate on "rules for thee, but    Second verse, somehow worse than the first. Do you like poor writing and characters that operate on "rules for thee, but not for me" or "all males are bad/smash patriarchy"? Did you ever want to see characters from a children show bone each other? If you answered "yes" to any of these, then Kevin Smiths She-Man Part 2 is for you! So "Metal"!

    However if you're a normal human being who came to this He-Man show expecting to see He-Man - Don't hold your breath. He-Man goes savage but its a non-issue because its the Evil-Lyn show this time. Remember the cool setup for Skelegod? Lol yeah, Kevin does NOTHING with that.

    Evil-Lyn overdoses on steroids and Oprah shows up somewhere because this has just devolved into "You get a Sword-of-Power! And you get a Sword-of-Power! And you get a Sword-of-Power!"

    Just cancel Netflix, it's not like these are "must watch" originals lol    … Expand

    just watch this review is enough, don't waste your time with a crappy woke series made from Snowflakes for snowflakes, it deserves to be forgotten

    It is unbeliavable that season two did double down on every woke aspect which made the first season awful.

    Where's He-Man? They didn't learn in season one, and continued on in this series disaster.

    Another failure of course. Kevin Smith again demolishes all that is holy in the name of woke bs nobody wants. When will he just F-off and leave sacred storylines and characters alone? Maybe go back to making crude jokes about women and body functions...thats literally all he was EVER good at.

    Like season 1 the focus is on Teela and here in this season also on Evil Lyn as main characters. He-Man is more prominent here but functions basically as sidekick or side-character. Skeletor on the other hand is also used unorthodox and also sidelined in my opinion. Again if they did it better I would not mind this. However like I said in the season 1 review there are reason why it is notLike season 1 the focus is on Teela and here in this season also on Evil Lyn as main characters. Again if they did it better I would not mind this. However like I said in the season 1 review there are reason why it is not acceptable and I repeat this word for word from my review for season 1. Firstly they promised a He-Man show and nothing else and especially Kevin Smith made a lot of now proven lies about this on social media. Secondly everyone who grew up with the show knew that He-Man was the boys show and She-Ra the girls show. This means not that you cant have strong females or males in the other show as for example the Sorceress is the most powerful character in He-Man and probably atop on the wisest characters list too. So they harmed the expectation twice. While I use a phrase with the word “expectations” you hear a lot that the show is a repeat of “The Last Jedi” in poorly subvert expectation and angering a lot of the fan base. Sadly a fair and valid point. Lastly they show that they have no confidence in their own show, ideas and decisions as they could have told this passionately to the (potential) viewers. To be fair for the last point it could also backfire but you would not be labeled as liars that mislabeled a product. In opposition to season 1 I like many ideas in the story and see glimpses of pure gold. Sadly it cant win me over more than it does. A lot of the plot is Teela going Mary Sue and developing new abilities out of nowhere to safe the day. Especially at the climax she change the rules of the lore completely. It is not that He-Man has a lore that I care of but more that they write a fan fiction like the original Mary Sue which is stronger, better, smarter and tougher than anyone else. These plot twists are just boring if the main character can do what he or she wants. Even the old He-Man who was ridiculously overpowered had limits as did the Sorceress or Skeletor. Don't get me wrong. I do not say that old He-Man had clever writing and world class story telling. It knew what it was, fans wanted to see and was (mostly) consistent in his own way. However the visuals are amazing and there should not be many people who criticizes this show. It is truly impressive in this regaard and I praise the show for this. Even the art style is satisfyingly good with a few exceptions but this is just me. The soundtrack again is also good and the voice actors are awesome. With for example Mark Hamill, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lena Headey, Susan Eisenberg and Chris Wood you cant do nothing wrong. Overall this was a missed opportunity but it is somehow entertaining. I like some ideas and the visuals while I would not recommend it in general. I say a 5/10 is fair.… Expand

    Perfect in every aspect. An epic way to make characters deeper, funnier and more interesting - even for adult audiences looking for nostalgia. And those who whine there was not enough He-man, you might need new glasses. There was He-man and he rocked!
