Nov 28, 2017After four episodes this is mostly boring backstory, juxtaposed with a shocking laissez fair attitude towards magic, super powers, and super tech. While it may get better, I doubt it will be worth watching in anything less than a total binge with heavy use of fast forward.

Dec 25, 2018season two has more action than the first, which story line is build slow, It's great to see that the writers really focused on the development of the character in the new season, especially on the kids dynamics

Jan 27, 2018It was supposed to be a short series about teenagers in the world of Marvel Universe, and it rather came out to be great tv series. Better production than what CW presents from DC. The comic book world is of course not realistically like in the case of Netflix production and suffers from lack of scenography or special effects, but as a drama teen it works great.

Jun 11, 2018This show starts terribly slow and it doesn't add anything to its awful character development . It is an absolute torture to watch first season .

Dec 24, 2018This has to be the worst Marvel brand show I have watched. Even worse than Shield and Agent Carter...I Found myself rooting for the bad guy. Hoping he sacrificed the whiny teen garbage they have acting in this junk. This thing is the exact same show every episode. Really just goes nowhere. The main cast is so annoying that I rather watch paint dry.

Dec 28, 2017What a total piece of crap. Don't waste your time with this one people. Unless you are a snowflake, seeking to further your investment in echo chambers.

Dec 18, 2017Great teen-adventure-weird drama. It plays things safe in some things, but then it gets weird in a good way. The characters are relatable and there is a lot of mistery going on. Very packed TV show. So fas so good.

Nov 29, 2017I am a huge fan of the source material, so my expectations were pretty high up there for this one. Thus far, it has been a solid B for me.
Pros:
faithfulness to the story-line
reasonable deviations where necessary
visual quality
Cons:
too much focus on parents for my taste
some iffy choices (Molly up-aged, Chase not being the 'dumb guy', Gert's crush immediately obvious, etc)
too serious -

Nov 23, 2017A spot on retelling of the amazing Brian K. Vaughn comic so far. The cast is pitch perfect and the focus is on relationships rather than action, which is where it should be. Excited to view beyond the first three episodes...

Nov 24, 2017This series is about rich kids that discovers the the bad truth about their parents. This series is the best Marvel drama series till now. This series has a little taste of Stranger things. The story is a little bit slow, but gives enough excitement so you can't wait to the next episode.

Dec 26, 2017A great comic made safe to the point where there's no tension or story. It's too bad, really, since there are such great actors, but the premise was neutered for television.

Dec 26, 2018A masterful step up from the first season. The first season worked as a prologue so the second could be filled with intricate relationships, humor, and heart. The show might falter slightly in the middle, but it soon picks up with a final couple of episodes that leaves the viewer gut-wrenched and wanting more. Can't wait for it to be renewed for a third season.

Runaways could be great if it dug into the question of whether it’s possible to be a bad person and a good parent, a different take on leading a double life than is standard in superhero fare. But this first part of the season, at least, doesn’t seize that opportunity to stand out. Like most teenagers, Runaways just wants to fit in.

The series attempts to transpose ordinary pubescent strife onto an extraordinary framework, using relatable teen struggles to temper the plot's absurdity. But the resulting incongruity, between the magnitude of the teens' discovery and the playfulness of their subsequent detective work, leaves us waiting for these young people to realistically process what they've witnessed.

It’s off to an incredibly compelling start, thanks to Schwartz and Strange’s confident storytelling, and should it keep moving forward at its current pace, it could become a truly addictive hit. As it is, it’s one of Marvel’s most promising series to date.
