Mar 18, 2017You might like this if you're 6 years old and it's the first karate show you've seen. You probably wouldn't notice the terrible acting, predictable plot, unoriginal story, and mediocre action scenes. This is the worst new release on Netflix in years and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The fact it has 4-5 stars on the rating system tells me a lot about the average Netflix user ..smh..

Mar 17, 2017I love Finn Jones but my god this show sucked so hard. Terribly filmed action scenes, Painfully predictable plot and god awful acting by the cast. It's like they tried to merge Daredevil and Arrow and it failed to epicly. I love the character Iron Fist and this show did not do him justice at all. They need to end it now.

Jun 14, 2018Things I would rather do than watch this awful actor play an awful character with awful dialogue in an awful plot line: anything else!
This is by far the most horrendous Marvel production yet made. Baaaaaaad. -
Oct 2, 2017Sooo boring, i watched the 13 episodes in around 5-6 hours, kept hitting fast forward just to stay awake. The fight scenes are super lame, and the characters are stupid, especially iron fist. i just wanted to punch him in the face and tell him "wake up ****

Oct 16, 2017It's a real pain to watch. The plot doesn't seem to go anywhere, the characters look all empty and there's nothing interesting about them. Totally boring

May 3, 2017I liked it well enough to watch the first season,: this show is about a boy who, after a tragedy grows up in a monetary and learns a powerful ability.
I find it to be the weakest of the Netflix hero series, but the show stands alone on it own merits; namely, good characters, decent acting, interesting setting, and a budget to support it.
I will also say, that it is somewhat pretentious. -
Dec 25, 2017I was looking forward to the series as it was something more magical in marvel tv, it started off great but about half way through it got stupid and ridiculous, Finn Jones is a terrible actor and he's like a crying baby throughout the series, Jessica Henwick stole the show and her acting was fantastic, she held the series together with an interesting character and a strong performance.

Mar 22, 2017How any one could give this a 10 is beyond me, they are just doing it to make the positive reviews higher than the critics reviews when the critics are spot on with this one, Finn has no martial arts background and it shows in every move he made, his acting was fair but not great.
People should stop comparing this to Luke cage because in reality it was 100 % better than this. -
Mar 22, 2017The only reason this score isn't zero is because the plot has a beginning, middle and an end. I wasn't captivated by the story and only watched it all because it connects to other Netflix Marvel series. The dialogue was very amateur, characters lacked depth and were hard to empathize with. It is disappointing considering how great its Marvel predecessors were.

A pior série do universo marvel até agora
Falha em roteiro, produção e direção. As lutas são extremamentes previsíveis e fracas -
Mar 24, 2017After a few episodes in, I could not stand the boring 'he said, she did blah blah' conversations any more.
Because of respect to the actors, I finished the show but with a twisted arm -

Mar 31, 2017Plodding, whispered, shadowy. Shows the problem of expanding a 2.5 hour movie to 13 hours. He really doesn't come across as innocent or naive. He comes across as stupid.

Mar 18, 2017You can tell Netflix is sensitive about this turd-blossom. I tried to review Iron Fist on the site and I'm locked out of being able to review it. This is horrible. Finn Jones is wooden and the dialogue is cliche driven and stilted. I keep rooting for the Madame Gao of The Hand to win so the series ends. Netflix blew it with Amy Schumer and the losing streak continues with Iron Fist.

Mar 20, 2017Painfully bad! Marvel's Iron Fist is a poorly written, acted, and filmed rip-off of Batman Begins. I am embarrassed for those involved, especially due to the hype leading up to its release.
-
Mar 27, 2017I tried to give it a chance but it is unbearably bad on all levels. what a disappointment! Firstly the lead is terribly miscast. Awful fight scenes. Terrible wooden dialogue.

Mar 21, 2017The clunky dialogue often creates the sense that the show doesn’t trust its audience. ... Everyone fights the same, and no one looks interesting doing it.

Mar 18, 2017Were the writers drunk when they made this? Probably yes. Iron Fist lacks coherence, good action sequences, decent character writing and last but not least, the visual effects are just sad. Bad move from Netflix

Mar 18, 2017OK s this show is arrow season 1 with less jokes and more production money, also oliver queen has no bow and arrow and is somewhat a ny hipster with great callouses, he also looks like an unshaved loras tyrell, The only good thing of the series? it is just interim filler for the defenders, but that is just wasting your time. Simply wait for the defenders and ignore this.

Mar 30, 2017Glad I didn't listen to the critics, I watched 7 episodes in one day and can't wait to watch the rest today. Characters, story and action keep everything moving briskly. This show is like eating potato chips, after 1 or 2 you have to eat some more.

Mar 19, 2017Acting is bad and the fight choreography needs more work. They made the lead role act like a child in man's clothing. This didn't fit his roll. The only thing good about this show is that it moves along at a decent pace.

Mar 27, 2017The main problem of this show is the main character. He so stupid and naive. Actor is totaly misscasting! He looks like a weak and unprepared. Just a pretty boy, not the strongest fighter in MCU. Fighting and story is also bad

Apr 12, 2017Iron Fist starts promising, gets boring and near the end it's just unbearable. The Danny rand character is so hateable, half the time he acts like a 10-year-old kid with personality issues and the other half, like a 14 year-old girl on her period, the only bearable character is Ward, at least most of the time. Simply a waste of time.

Mar 21, 2017Was actually a pretty good show. Th e 2 things that were the most disappointing were the fight scene that were lacking with Danny. Second was character personality of Danny. Felt lacking as well. But the show actually has good promise for the future and is a great launching for the Defenders.

May 20, 2017Metacritic said I needed 150 characters to review this. So I'm adding filler to the point where I could write what I'd intended to at . TURN BACK NOW

Sep 19, 2018What's the opposite of "Marvel?" ... Annoying, dragging, indecisive. A lengthy melodrama that has some good technical points and stand-out actors, but fails overall to engage under the orchestration of a dull, dragging, unnecessary script! Predictable and what's not predictable doesn't add to any excitement. This series is the definition of Mental Garbage.

Unfortunately, the trouble with Iron Fist doesn’t end once you start actually watching the show, which like its character, is occasionally sweet, frequently maddening, and ultimately kind of lost in Marvel’s New York.
-
The clunky dialogue often creates the sense that the show doesn’t trust its audience. ... Everyone fights the same, and no one looks interesting doing it.

If Iron Fist pulls it punches in the originality department, it excels in thrilling martial arts action. [20 Mar - 2 Apr 2017, p.19]
