This season has evolved over its previous one. The first season, although a great idea, was a bit tedious. The introduction of HYDRA changed it all. Epic storyline awaits.

Desde la temporada Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D va en asenso... espero que siga en ese camino y que pueda llegar a un nivel cercano al cine. Joss Wedon debe involucrarse más y todo será mejor. Aun hay esperanza.

Already a vast improvement over season one, story lines are starting to layer up and several new and interesting characters have been thrown into the mix. After the first season took a while to get off the ground, the second drops us straight into the action. If the show continues to ramp up like this it may yet prove a fan favourite. This season was more consistent than last. It never truly wowed, but it's an enjoyable, fun show. And that's what I look for in anything Marvel. Doesn't have to be groundbreaking, just has to be enjoyable and this is.

Brilliant story-telling, unexpected twists & turns, refreshing plots, multiple characters, complex story-line, great acting, tight pacing and awesome cinematography. Season 2 starts slow but once the pace gathers, you simply had to watch the entire season at one go! Looking forward to Season 3.

This season is really getting us somewhere. Major improvement from last season, but the show was already getting really good despite its dull first few episodes. I give you a 9 out of 10 so far, Whedon and company.

I have to admit, I may have stuck with AOS in Season 1 because of brand loyalty rather than because of the fact that it was a good show. Also, I was more accepting of flawed entertainment before than now. Despite this, AOS has had one h#ll of a comeback and has improved greatly from the first half of the first season. As you've probably heard many people say, ever since the Captain AmericaI have to admit, I may have stuck with AOS in Season 1 because of brand loyalty rather than because of the fact that it was a good show. Also, I was more accepting of flawed entertainment before than now. Despite this, AOS has had one h#ll of a comeback and has improved greatly from the first half of the first season. As you've probably heard many people say, ever since the Captain America 2: Winter Soldier tie-in episode, things have only gotten better and better.

The first 2 or 3 episodes of AOS Season 2 felt weird, like midseason material. We were introduced to so many new characters and things (like Agent Isabelle Hartley) but some died the very first episode.

Yet, from the last few episodes and onward, it's clear that AOS Season 2 has a sense of direction and purpose. There aren't really any "filler" episodes or anomaly/villain-of-the-week episodes. There are evident storylines/arcs, and it's obvious that AOS has a purpose in the MCU. It has a role in the big picture. There are many questions we are asking ourselves because of the show, and there are also many answers/revelations we have learned because of it. AOS has connections to MCU, but the show doesn't rely on them like a crutch. The show can support itself and have independent storylines not based on the Marvel movies (yet still be enjoyable by itself). AOS Season 2 was risky, because there would be no movies for the show to tie-in with for most of the beginning of season , and therefore no ratings boost. (I’m pretty sure AOS will crossover with A2: AOU in May 2015, however.) The show was essentially on its own. Yet, Season 2 is a big improvement over the 1st half of season 1, and in my opinion Season 2 is a success. While the characters were once cliché, they have developed nicely and Coulson's team has a nice dynamic. There are lots of new characters to diversify and fill up the show’s ranks. The main villains are Hydra, yet I feel they still aren’t as menacing or as evil as they could be. They need to feel like more of a threat IMO (do more evil stuff!).

(*EDIT* I think they’ve done a good enough job now establishing Hydra as evil.)

If you gave up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, I suggest you give the show a second chance. I think you’ll find that it’s worth it. (Hint HINT: “It’s all connected”—to the Inhumans!) By the way. I also have reviewed “Marvel’s Agent Carter”.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After a really good debut season, the show tops itself with a much better, improved and exciting second season!

I love how this season makes the show has more impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we still get to see the S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. HYDRA conflict going on while also standing out on its own without its dependence on other Marvel Cinematic Universe properties.

I loved how this season has no filler episodes and it has a very tight story arc that it plays out as a very long, yet entertaining movie. The story arcs were excellently executed with excellent writing and they get fair amounts of screen time.

The effects were surprisingly much better than the previous season. I was surprised that this show with only decent ratings can get really good special effects.

The new additions to the the team Bobbi, Hunter and Mack made this show more fun to watch. One of my favorite parts of them being the new additions to the team are Bobbi and Hunter’s hate-love chemistry which is adorable and funny.

The character development is also excellently executed. There were a lot of character developments that I really liked so I can only list a few. I liked the character development of Skye as she becomes more of a bad-ass and she learns more about her origins and her parents as well as her new-found discovery that she is an Inhuman. Another character development I liked was Agent May’s as we get to finally see what made Agent May who she is today in her titular “Melinda” episode. I also liked the conflict between Fitz and Simmons as they have a different way of handling their trauma from the previous season in which it’s heartbreaking to watch as a FitzSimmons fan.

The sophomore season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shows they deserved to exist as a TV show and a Marvel propriety and it screams out excitement and thrills with tight storytelling, excellently executed plot arcs and character development and brand new characters that fit in the show just fine.

After a somewhat underwhelming but still enjoyable first season, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D greatly improves what the first season started with more character development, more conflicts, more drama, and more interesting lore. It's a great season and I can't wait to see what season three will have.

This show is incredibly boring. I don't even know the reason for me to continue seeing it. This is going nowhere, Coulson has ZERO charisma, as well as the rest of the cast.
The plot is uninteresting inconsistent, absurd... wait, WHAT PLOT?
Avoid this show if you have anything else to see.

It's truly, truly sad. I just saw the very first episode, and was highly disappointed. Simmons is supposed to care deeply about Fitz, so why leave him in his worst state? Next, we can see that Coulson is starting to rebuild SHIELD, he has hired new people such as Isabelle, Lance, Mack and others. Isabelle, in the final of the episode, decided to grab an object who everyone claims that cannot be touched and it results in her dying. And not to mention, most of the new characters DIE in the end. Shouldn't we be able to know and connect to the characters before they parish?
And plus the atmosphere, the episode is intense, of course, but it looks like a season finale and not the beginning of one! There are slow-mo scenes, inspirational speeches, character death,etc...whenever you're starting a new season, I highly think that it should go smooth, not just jump to the action and character death! And not to mention that a lot of things have happened in the time gap between the two seasons, but however they are not mentioned or just happened off-screen and aren't explained very well, like Simmons leaving. That was really out of character for her.
To top it off, I hope this TV Show isn't going to become a piece of ****. Its 1st season was great, and I'm sticking around for the 2nd one, but they damn best should fix their mistakes.

Now the second season seeks to continue the storyline that revolved around the events experienced in The Avengers movies. The first season takes place in the wake of the first film while the second season mostly leads up to the second film (references are made late in the season to events and places that are visited in Age of Ultron). While the show lacks the massive star power of The Avengers (something that is quite unfortunate) it still ends up being exceedingly interesting for both newer acting talent and consistent plots unfolding throughout a generous 22 episode season. It's hard not to love this series after two solid seasons and, if there's any good in TV land, this show will be allowed to continue through at least the third installment of The Avengers, which would potentially give it a third and maybe fourth season. It all can't last forever - the Marvel universe is massive but the show succeeds because there's so much great plot and material to draw from as the movies progress. It's the movies that give the background more than anything, thus I don't fully expect this series to be around for many years to come. If it does manage to survive and keep the quality bar high, I won't complain. Expand

Shield is official disbanded and our team tries to continue as black ops while being hunted by the government and agency. They are still the good guys but face a lot of troubles while protecting the people and world. This season has again great stories and twists that are as amazing as hard hitting. You will be surprised a lot of times and I think overall it has the most amount of shocking twist of the show so far (I am at the end of season 4 at the moment). Also Hydra is not destroyed like the mythical Hydra it is not enough to cut of a head. You will learn a bit about their history and goals as all you knew is just one side of a coin or one head of a multi-headed mythical Hydra;-). Like every Joss Wheadon and I think should add Jed Wheadon show it has a strong cast of characters. I was always fully immersed and cared for them. The new additions also worked really well and I salute to the whole team for giving us such a great cast / performance. Phil Caulson played by Clark Gregg is great and has good arcs in the show. Sky played by Chloe Bennet has the biggest arc and character development this season. Finally we know why Melinda May played by Ming-Na Wen is nicknamed the cavalry. It is such an excellent, emotional and tragic story that explains her characters baggage and fits really good in the story (Episode 17 Melinda). I cant talk much about Grant Ward played by Brett Dalton without spoilers but say he will be the mayor character in season 3 and is set up her. Leo Fitz by Ian De Caestecker delivered the best performance. He suffered brain injuries at the end of last season and still recovers. They put a lot of care and research into it to give a correct representation. I am still amazed how good it works and how I was invested in his troubles (I could feel his pain and struggles). Jemma Simmons evolved since the beginning and will continue. Like in season 1 I always waited for her or / and Fitz to finally make the first step;-). For the new characters we got Alphose MacKenzie. He won me easily over and became a great character and stayed until the end of the show. Lance hunter by Nick Blood is like an uncut gem. He is definitely someone you want on your side but must also be careful. There is another female character I wont mentioned because it will be a spoiler but praise her performance. There are other side characters I enjoyed like Raina, General Talbot, all members of the Koenigs, Calvin Johnson (such great acting), Carl Creed, Jiaying and Lincoln Campbell who we might see more later on. There is a great cast and the chemistry is excellent. The backstories, development and interactions kept me always engaged and I want to see more. The special effects are amazing for the show but the choreography for the fights is even better. I was always impressed how good it looked and how you can feel the impacts. I finally decided to stop naming my favorite episodes completely for this show (Abandoned it just for season 1). I recommend watching all episodes as to get more out of the character development, twists and revelations. They set up things so excellent like for examples Melindas backstory was mentioned for 38 episodes with some small bread crumbs from time to time before you get the reveals. The is an easy must see recommendation for me. Expand
