Turned a historical show into a lecture on world peace. Loved it when it was science.. Now, it is just a "Lost" joke. Too bad.. crappy Hollywood B.S. and their agenda. Get it straight.. millions of lives were saved by dropping these bombs. Japanese were ruthless cowardly rapists, tortures and murderers. Innocent lives were lost unfortunately, but millions more would have died in anTurned a historical show into a lecture on world peace. Loved it when it was science.. Now, it is just a "Lost" joke. I lives there from 1969 to 1972 and heard all of the atrocities these animals were committing. Bye Bye Manhattan.. another piece of Hollywood crap. Stick to history. Look at why things are. Look at the examples of American NOT to use this kind of force again. look at the United States leading in the desire to control these weapons. Expand

In a TV world with so many choices, Manhattan is at least worth seeking out, to see if its kind of tense smartness appeals to you.

The series is stronger and more fully realized through four episodes of season two than it was at a comparable point in season one.

[A] well-executed, edge-of-your-seat drama.... It reduces a unique story to a typical genre entry.... [Shaw's] characters are ruinous, emotionally stunted creatures.
