This show is amazingly good. By that, I don't mean it's fantastically written and has both great acting and direction; you can take those as a given. Getting this out of Hollywood and on American Prime Time TV is like the second coming - a miracle that's tough to believe.

Thank you, whoever made this a reality.

I've always been a fan of biblicly themed movies and shows. I loved Christopher Walken and Viggo Mortensen in The Prophecy, and I've much appreciated the more recent angelic fights in Dominion. I even watched Arnold Schwarzenegger's fight with the devil in End of Days. Twice.

But I'll be damned (quite probably, given the nature of this show) if I don't rank FOX's Lucifer as the best

I really enjoyed this show it was fast and fun and the two main actors look to have great chemistry, and an overall story arc the works to you're the episodes together which many cop dramas lack.

I just got back from the UK, and i loved their humor, and Tom brings UK humor right in your face; he hits the topic well. He fits this roll perfectly, Lauren matches his charisma spot on. I am an atheist which makes this so much more fun! Expand

The show is another police procedural with a slight twist. Very entertaining and a quality show. The on screen chemistry between characters shows up early and helps the show feel believable. Overall the best new show I've seen in awhile.

There are many TV shows which I simply am not interested in but Lucifer is one which really holds me to the TV set. I also love it that this TV show freaks out those who are credulous enough to believe in the mythology of Christianity (or any other religious mythology with a devil character). It's quite fun to see the credulous squirm and get bent out of shape.

Delicious Show, it has great sense of humor and double sense jokes that keep the viewers entertained, its a great story, who cares of the plot might have been used before? the actors are doing a really good job, and Tom Ellis as Lucifer, is one of the best representations of this role I've seen and enjoyed so far.

Slightly step down into a humanity crush on the latest episode, which could have been handled better, he is still Lucifer and having his character reject sex to whom he has been trying to achieve the entire series, i believe was a weak decision, maybe instead of rejecting her, he could have gone for it but to give more strength to her "powers" over him, maybe Lucifer couldn't get "it up" with her. but they chose to go to the "i feel more human now" route.

Overall i enjoy this show and is one of the best things on Monday.

Even if it's not really following the comic, we don't care and we don't want to spoil ourselves. So purist, please go away, or if you're open minded enjoy. Some of you

Some of you could think "Oh damn another cop show... introducing the devil, Hollywood doesn't have any idea anymore". I think "Oh Hell, shame on you".

Maybe you find the devil too lame, too weak, not up to par... and you didn't understand, that what the show needs to be as good as it is. The devil, questioning himself about is own humanity... finding a new sense of his life, meeting this Divine cop girl, Rebecca..

Just try it, it's pretty amazing.

Lucifer brings forth a lovable, charming cast and the characters that they play.

Every episode brings a smile and considering they air it every Monday, one of the days most of us need it the most, it works out quite well. It's a fun, quirky, easy to watch show and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting just that.

The show’s supporting players--in particular, D.B. Woodside’s Amenadiel, sent down from Heaven to insist Lucifer go back from where he came, Rachael Harris as Lucifer’s shrink, and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Maze, Lucifer’s ass-kicking assistant--hint at the possibility of a more interesting show (as does a closing twist in “Favorite Son”). Until or unless the show’s writing staff digs down and explore those darker instincts, however, Lucifer feels stuck in creative purgatory.

Lucifer is the most accessible [of the twoshows--the other being Syfy's "The Magicians"], mostly because it feels as if we've already seen it before. And we have, one way or another; "Lucifer" feels a bit as if Syfy's fallen-angel drama "Dominion" mated with ABC's "Castle."
