I didn’t think I was into animation, but wow, I am so impressed. Some of theses are sooo well done that makes you think why we need actors:))))) All the animations are so well done that it’s mesmerizing. This show really has a unique way to balance itself, from more than 20 episodes so far.. the simple, short yet satisfying, even by the different moods of every story.. the show just lets you enjoy and sink it all at once.

It’s a good/fun anthology series, that’s not too serious. There’s isn’t really a point to any of the episodes. But I definitely enjoyed getting lost in some of them. Even if they are fairly short. There were a couple episodes that we're mediocre at best, but the vast majority were amazing. All the animations were beautiful and done with the upmost pride and attention to detail. I hope to see more in the future!

Love, Death & Robots excellent example of the animation anthology. From the whole 18 series upon interesting less than a half. Some an interesting plot, but have no plot or on the contrary. Love, Death and Robots is beautiful and experimental in a way you just don't see nowadays. I love anthological stories and you can just see that in each short, the creators were putting it their all and doing things they truly loved. Season 2 has great shorts — like 'Ice' —, but I think the narrative quality got down a little. Hope they saved better stories for season 3.

This Netflix series is very hit-or-miss. Basically what this is is an anthology of animated shorts for a mature audience. Think Heavy Metal, Liquid Television or The Animatrix. That sounds like a cool idea, but not all the shorts are veryThis Netflix series is very hit-or-miss. Basically what this is is an anthology of animated shorts for a mature audience. Think Heavy Metal, Liquid Television or The Animatrix. That sounds like a cool idea, but not all the shorts are very good. Some are animated in that hyper-realistic video game cutscene Robert Zemeckis style, which I really don’t understand. What’s the point of it being animated if you’re going to make it look as realistic as possible? Why not just make it live-action? A lot of these shorts are pretty much just big long action scenes, nothing really too original or interesting. There’s also the mature content, which goes too far sometimes. Some of these shorts would play out exactly the same if you took out the sex, gore and swearing, it just isn’t always necessary and comes off as try-hard and childish. However, with all that said, some of these shorts are absolutely beautiful with breathtaking animation, creative concepts and inspired imagery. This is stuff I love in animated shorts, and Love, Death and Robots definitely delivers on that, just not all the time. If you like animated short anthologies all done in different styles and genres, LDR is worth a watch. It’s not that great as a whole, but it has some really great stuff in it.… Expand

I love this show, each episode is so memorable and some even feel like they’re deserving of their own standalone series. The animation is some of the best I’ve ever seen and it’s a great show to binge.

There are some real gems in this series. Outstanding animation and clever, unpredictable stories which could easily be spun off into a series of their own. Highly recommended.
