I just can't put into words how amazing this is. Each episode is incredible. The animation types are extremely well made and with some episodeS you'll even wonder if you're not watching a movie with real life people acting in it. This is the best thing Netflix has put out in years.

It is an incredible series that Netflix supported. Each episode is totally different from each one. Each animation is incredible, you pass from a cartoon to an almost reality animation. The stories are very good with a plot twist in each one that makes you watch another one.

I liked the first episode the best with doubt. every story was unique and had some level of depth which is surprise considering every episode is 10 - 15 mins long.

    A Netflix must watch.

The third episode, for me, catapulted my view of the show significantly. It presented itself as animated crafts on top of a cyberpunk-seedy version of Hong Kong, where the journey of the main characters culminate in a philosophical statement -'the cycle of exploitation continues, involving anyone swept up in it'. It communicated this through effective action, simple desire and a careful balance of foretelling and revelation, while the art style gave my mind sufficient interest to parallel-process. The result was a very engaging experience that married emotional response and thought; I found it extremely well-done.

Episodes like "Fish Night", "When the Yogurt Took Over", and "Ice Age" just feel like dropped opportunities. Great concepts but the episodes end before anything really happens - feel unfinished.

Side note: Can easily see this series catching some political slack from every side. Virtue signaling all over one episode. Next episode strictly uses women as sexual objects/constant victims of violence/edge-lord crap. Think this series could have been great with better quality control.

Incredible. I just have to say that Netflix has some big balls just for green-lighting this project at all. You probably won't see adult animation like this anywhere else at the moment. Almost every single one of these animated shorts could have been it's own successful feature length film.

10/10. The exact kind of movies I like to watch. I barely noticed any SJW elements too which is amazing. If anyone thinks it's too violent, too exploitative or whatever, I hope you get exploited yourself.

I also really like the short form factor. There were 2 episodes I think that I didn't like much but the rest was great.

Alternately I hear the other side that has complaints about the nudity and swearing, and the graphic content in general. I think that should be heard, but I would say that it should be somewhat expected from an over-the-top service that is not bound by the confines of puritan value organizations like the FCC. There does need to be a place for more scandalous content to live and Netflix appears to be the best place without treading into more dangerous and seedy territory on the web. At least it's curated!

Visually compelling animation, telling masterfully written short stories. It has an animated Black Mirror vibe to it. This might be my most favorite Netflix Original series to date. Love, Death, & Robots is the highest form of art and storytelling coming together perfectly.

Great series overall, some of the episodes are better than others, most are pretty good with a couple that are a bit mediocre, and a few that are stunning such as Beyond the Aqila Rift, which was just downright spooky at the end. Great to see such content that caters to the tastes of those who like challenging science fiction.

With some low points such as an episode that explores other ways that Hitler could have died, and some extreme highs, with the final episode 'The Secret War' being one of note. All in all, Love, Death and Robots is an intriguing, dark, funny, violent and altogether thoughtful experience, boxed up in one of the most stylish, bonkers and diverse packages you can find.
If you are a fan of innovative animation, balls to the wall insanity, gruesome violence and thoughtful creativity, then Love, Death and Robots is a trip certainly worth taking and should shoot to the top of your watch list.

Love, Death & Robots is a majority of hits with some not quite hitting the mark; though what those shorts lacked they made up with in style. The animation style ranged from hyper realistic computer graphics to line and flat color animation. Each short has its own aesthetic charm, energy, and flow.

The writing varies from episode to episode but all circulate around technology; cyberpunk and scifi enthusiasts will enjoy this series immensely. There is male and female nudity, the animators do not shy away from full frontal with both sexes. But when these scenes happen it is not pornographic in nature but are an essential to furthering the plot or character development; in short it happens for a reason. It is just excellent, adult, writing.

Writing that will sometimes make you wish the shorts were full episodes. Some notable shorts that would make great full length series are the world of Sonnie's Edge, Zima Blue, and Three Robots, and Beyond the Aquila Rift. Overall, the series of shorts will satisfy and satiate those for a thirst of a direct injection of science fiction right into your noggin in a minimal amount of time.

Some flashes of originality but there’s a strong whiff of Axe body spray to this show. Made for 13 year olds and their adult equivalents. Heavy with cliches. Excellent production values. I’m sure most fanboys will froth at the mouth for it. Doesn’t even come close to the smarts of Black Mirror.
