The stand-out episode of the series is E5. WHEN THE YOGURT TOOK OVER. This episode is a witty and intelligent exploration of a world where the evolution of yogurt has led to a complete reversal of power dynamics. The episode's animation style is both beautiful and innovative, and the writing is clever and engaging, making it one of the best episodes of the series.

Overall, Love, Death & Robots is a triumph of modern animation. The series features stunning visuals, innovative storytelling, and a wide range of genres and themes. While not every episode is a masterpiece, the series consistently delivers high-quality entertainment, earning it a solid 9/10 rating. If you're a fan of animation or science fiction, this series is a must-watch.

80% of these have some stellar animation and half of the stories are incredibly well written and thought provoking but the other stories are meaningless and provide almost no substance at all other than being tech demos. If the animation wasn't so good across the board then this season would get a lower score.

In general, in a pack of seventeen episodes, everyone will find something for themselves. It is such a creation, entirely based on the iconic paintings of postmodernism, but with a great degree of passion, bright colors, and frank scenes. Some of the series still ask to become full-length paintings, and this is something like a short film project from Neil Blomcamp.

The stories in the episodes are always short, but often have a surprising ending. Some episodes even have a better story than an entire serie. Sure, you could have expanded the stories a bit more, but that doesn't make the serie bad. And then there are the always very different artstyles. This makes the serie a lot of fun to watch! In the various episodes is always a healthy mixture of violence and nudity. This might be strange for some, but in "Love Death & Robots" it was very well done.

In summary I can say that everyone should have a look at the serie "Love Death & Robots". There are so many different scenarios in the Netflix serie, there will be something interesting for everyone. Check it out!

Sometimes the episode is full of reflective and hidden messages, other times you'll find a less clever story but a fest for the eyes.
Sex and violence are present in most of the episodes...a little fan service maybe but never tasteless.
The variety offered keep the show fresh and original.
Quality of episodes also varies but most of them are really good (for example "The Witness" , "Three Robots", "Sonnie’s Edge" ) .

Great series overall, some of the episodes are better than others, most are pretty good with a couple that are a bit mediocre, and a few that are stunning such as Beyond the Aqila Rift, which was just downright spooky at the end. Great to see such content that caters to the tastes of those who like challenging science fiction.

Very feast-or-famine. The series suffers overall from too many of the shorts trying too hard to be "adult," jamming in sexual content that often feels obtrusive. A few episodes are also lacking in actual story. Episode 3, The Witness, is a particularly poor example, seemingly way more interested in CG nudity than creating a compelling film.

But there are standouts in the other direction. Episode 8, Good Hunting, was my personal favorite. It's a very dark story that told a very adult tale that constantly asks the viewer to reassess what sort of story this is. Other notable standouts are the charming "Three Robots," the colorful "Suits," dreamlike "Fish Night," and imaginative "Secret War." "Blind Spot" also stands out for being such a perfect recreation of the '90s Saturday morning cartoon deep in the attitude era.

Oh, and I couldn't finish "Helping Hand." The whole short is just body horror, and compares very unfavorably to "Beyond the Aquila Rift," which is body horror woven into a fascinating story.

Overall, worth the watch, but some of the shorts are worth skipping.

This is an overrated animated made by Netflix. The stories used in this series are out of range and most of them are used before in some animations or movies. I think the new kind of animating in this package is a well done job and good to watch it but you will be disappointed after each episode!

While Black Mirror episodes focus solely on delivering dark, philosophical messages and twist endings, these stories are much more about creating fun-to-watch, action-filled science fiction stories which may or may not have a deeper meaning.

One of my favorites was Suits, an alien invasion story about future-farmers defending their town. The action's fast paced and the characters are immediately likable. I especially loved how each character's expression was animated. The last shot is a bit of a twist and proposes a different interpretation of the events of the story, but it doesn't hit you over the head with a message like Black Mirror might have done – it's a classic alien invasion story first and foremost.

The worst of the bunch is probably Witness. The predictable ironic ending made me roll my eyes, but my biggest problem with the episode was main character. The whole episode consists of following the female character around a city, and yet we never get a sense of who she is. Instead, the camera constantly lingers on her breasts at the expense of actually showing her facial expression, and she ends up running around naked for the last half of the short. I had sooo many questions about this character (why doesn't she give her name to the police? why is the first person she calls a Russian junkie? why doesn't she let the killer explain himself?) that were never answered, because at the end of the day, she's not a real person, just a male fantasy.

      It's a decent series.
Each episode has a new story + a new animation that makes it similar to Black Mirror. It's not as good, but it's pretty exciting.

It might be cool and popular but it won't help make the story better. No one cares about stupid characters just because they're in space. I'm so tired of these superficial hipster sci-fi wannabes.

Political aspect - Unfortunately this is another piece of modern entertainment which is riddled with stupid political agitation. Specifically there are retarded feminist tropes and archetypes present throughout the whole series, which just makes those already bad stories even worse. Pity, because the visuals were great.

Delivering bleakness and black comedy in distilled form via stories that rarely last more than fifteen minutes, it’s like Black Mirror for the ADD-addled video game crowd. ... Love, Death & Robots is at its finest when it’s short, sweet and satirically nasty.
