Better at atmospherics than plot specifics, Loch Ness is prone to red herrings and subplots tend to muddy the waters, delaying a melodramatic denouement that is only slightly more credible than the existence of a prehistoric sea beast. [26 Jun - 9 Jul 2017, p.13]

Lush scenery, but too many side stories that don't seem critical to the plot. I.e. the kid in a supposed coma whose mom keeps sedating him? What is it with Siobhan Finneran - will she only accept roles as a detective? This is the third show she has starred as one. Well, I will watch to the end only to find out the answers to the questions I'm left with presently. Full Review »

Very poorly cast. Actors not believable in their roles and very lame story. Quite disappointing.
