    Trash. Garbage. Rubbish. Some kind of oddly coloured discharge. This show won't make it half way through the 3rd season before it's canceled. Love him or hate him, Crawford had an on screen persona that really moved the show forward. Despite the fact that Waynes was (past tense intended) the big name draw, it was Crawford who provided the excitement, tension and comedic relief which madeTrash. Garbage. Rubbish. Love him or hate him, Crawford had an on screen persona that really moved the show forward. Despite the fact that Waynes was (past tense intended) the big name draw, it was Crawford who provided the excitement, tension and comedic relief which made the show sizzle and pop. On top of that, the dynamic between Crawford and Waynes added up to far more than the sum of the parts. It's like the alchemist who found the secret of turning lead into gold. And then he just threw the recipe away. I wanted to like Scott in the role, God knows I tried. But watching the first episode felt like I had sucked back an entire bottle of prozac and then fallen down the worlds longest flight of stairs. I just kept wondering, 'When is this going to be over?' I know, I know... 'but it's only the first episode!!' True, but it was a hit show for a reason and hit shows don't just come around everyday. You can't just take out the lynch pin of the show and throw in the guy from American Pie and think that it's all just going to be okie dokie. Say what you want about Crawford, but his crazy personality created a vivid, enticing character, which juxtaposed Waynes safe, boring persona perfectly. Maybe Waynes shouldn't have looked a gift horse in the mouth before he spearheaded the firing of Crawford because he was hit with a random piece of special effects. However, at the end of the day, Waynes will be fine. He's got lots of clout. As for the rest of the cast, you better start hunting for a new gig pronto stat. And the next time you end up on set with one of those 'crazy' artist types, maybe don't be so fast to throw him to the wolves. You might just be throwing yourself in there as well. RIP Lethal Weapon. Taken from us too soon. P.S. Whatever show Crawford ends up on, I'll be sure to check it out.… Expand

    This episode did not respect Martin Riggs at all. No funerals. Lethal Weapon without the Lethal Weapon aka Martin Riggs? Really? Not worth watching.

    Aaaannnd, I'm out. Sad to see a good show sink to the depths of mediocrity. Seriously. Stiffler?? Keyword - Stiff!

    Yet another good show fubar-ed by an actor (Crawford) who didn't realize how good he had it. Shame.

    Ok, they should have ended this show last year with that ending. And should have been satisfied that the show run 2 seasons. Clayne and Jordana, was the show. And exchange Clayne with I dont know whats his name is. But magically conjure an equal weird cop. Its just plain dumb. This show will get cancelled for sure after this season.

    With this change with tv series is over. Switching Clayne Crawford with Seann Scott is worst decision. Like change Mel Gibson with Bruce Willis in original movies.

    Thought I would give Series 3 a look at but was so slow and boring that I found I lost interest halfway through. Show died with Riggs. The whole concept of Lethal Weapon was the zany unstable persona of Riggs which is now missing from the show. As for Damon he should retire or go back to My Wife and Kids as this is the level of acting he is capable of. Won’t bother watching next weekThought I would give Series 3 a look at but was so slow and boring that I found I lost interest halfway through. Show died with Riggs.     I wanted to like it as I don’t mind Scott but it is so terribly boring and soulless. It’s like Scott has had it written into his contract to be overly polite to Wayans and there is absolutely no chemistry at all. I feel like they have tried to take every facet of his character and make it opposite to Riggs for the sake of it. There’s no emotional connection to anything happening thisI wanted to like it as I don’t mind Scott but it is so terribly boring and soulless. It’s like Scott has had it written into his contract to be overly polite to Wayans and there is absolutely no chemistry at all. I feel like they have tried to take every facet of his character and make it opposite to Riggs for the sake of it. There’s no emotional connection to anything happening this season and I’ve literally dozed off numerous times and don’t think I’ll bother watching even with a shortened season. Clayne may or may not have been a terror to work with, tbh it sounds very manufactured and one sided but regardless, he was the reason it was a hit. He brought the excitement and the emotional investment to make it not just yet another cop show. And if they really did hate each other as much as they supposedly did then that somehow really worked onscreen. I’m sure the network can see that in hindsight they killed their own show the moment we lost the starring character. Disappointing that Wayans quit the show anyway, clearly would have a better chance of a longer season run if he’d been the one to go and not Clayne. Sucks for the fans who supposedly these shows are produced for in the first place, thinking it must be more so to stroke big name egos perhaps!… Expand
