This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Complete trash that from step one in a single simple episode clearly misses the ENTIRE point of the core material. With a young lead who cant seem to act in this role in the least. And sweeping rewrites that undermine even the slightest hint of taboo that punctuates the very definable nature of vampire lore, choosing rather to hide behind over cautious safety nets.

I am entirely revolted this series has taken the form it is in.

Give it a new title and admit theyre simply stealing surface level bullet points without daring to comprehend the source and MAYBE it will be tolerable.

But as it sits, it'd be like setting Harry Potter in space.… Expand
